Death of Twitter?

It seems two of Twitter's biggest fans are abandoning their followers - although Celebritree finds it hard to believe that either of these egomaniacs would want to silence their twitterings for long.
First up is Katy Perry, who is, of course, marrying Russell Brand this weekend. The couple have taken the celebrity wedding to a new extreme with their 7 day extravaganza in Jaipur, involving elephants, tigers, nose rings, henna and P-Diddy. The poor guests must be having wardrobe nightmares! The reason for Katy's silence may be that she's too busy having henna tattooed onto her hands to tweet, or it may be that she has recently been the victim of some rather mean tweets, calling her husband to be a cheating ****er.
Next to drop off the tweets is Peaches Geldof, who has admitted her break is probably temporary. Speculation suggests that this may be due to a break up with boyfriend, Eli Roth, who has stopped following her. Even he's tired of her pointless twitterings then...

And a non-wedding

Peaches Geldof has denied rumours that she is engaged and about to marry boyfriend, Eli Roth. As all self-respecting celebs do, she denied the allegations via Twitter, so poor Sir Bob can rest easy for now. However, she also tweeted pics of herself dressing up in wedding dresses, probably based on the old adage that the one thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about...

Peaches adds to her collection

Peaches Geldof has been keeping relatively quiet after those lovely pics of her on the internet. She has just put in the odd appearance at the occasional party - this time with her boyfriend, Eli Roth, at a do in San Diego. She was looking pretty respectable (for Peaches) in a summer frock, until the cameras panned in on her latest additions to her tattoo collection - an upside down crucifix on her back and the letters 'FML' on her finger. She is clearly proud of this latter tattoo as she has tweeted this pic of it herself, describing this latest addition as "hilarious". Rumour has it that it stands for "F*** My Life". Charming, her father must be so proud. Although Celebritree wonders if it is just a dyslexic tribute to Eighties' pop-duo, Mel & Kim, and their hit, 'FLM' (which stood for Fun, Love and Money - far more appropriate, surely).

Peaches clean

Peaches Geldof has apparently had a showdown with her father, Sir Bob. Following the seedy photos and stories about her in all the tabloids, Bob has asked Peaches to check into rehab, before it is too late. Peaches has refused, reassuring her father that she is no longer in that bad place and is now clean from drink and drugs.
Her boyfriend, porn film director, Eli Roth, has jumped to her defence, posting a 1,200 word rant at the mother of Ben Mills (the charming chap who appeared in the pics with Peaches) saying that her son "took a bright, intelligent, incredibly creative young writer and ­damaged her ability to work until people forget about this or dismiss it as nonsense." Hmm, Celebritree feels that Peaches' recent exploits do not necessarily support the "bright, intelligent" part of this claim....
