Tweedy goes down

Oh dear. Cheryl's brother, Andrew Tweedy, has finally had his day in court, and it didn't turn out well for him. After admitting to his part in an armed robbery that netted him and his fellow gang members a grand total of £1,000, Andrew has been sent down for six years. It seems Cheryl was busy on other engagements, so didn't make it up to Newcastle Crown Court to see her brother's big moment. Younger brother, Garry, also missed out, as he was living it up in Las Vegas with Derek Hough, who is keeping the world up to date with their exploits via Tiwtter. Following the verdict, it was revealed that Andrew has a list of previous as long as his sister's flowing hair extensions...

Chezza update

So, it's all happening for Chezza again: friends have apparently warned her that Dezza is "a player" (but which side is he batting for?!); Keisha Buchanan (one of the growing tribe of former Sugababes) wants to relaunch her career by writing material for Chezza; Playboy want Chezza in their magazine; Charlotte Church has beaten Chezza to the "most desireable batchelorette in Britain" title. It's all happening for her family too: as bruv, Andrew Tweedy, languishes at Her Majesty's pleasure, accused of armed robbery, he could be getting some company soon as cousin, Paul Tweedy, appeared at court in Consett, accused of pushing a policewoman to the ground and fracturing her skull. Hmm, such a nice, gentle family... Are you sure you want to get involved with this lot, Derek?

Cheryl's Bro allegedly arrested

Andrew Tweedy, Cheryl's troubled brother, has (according to The Sun) been arrested following an armed robbery of a Post Office in Longbenton, Newcastle. The robbers escaped with thousands of pounds after waving a gun and a machete around in front of terrified customers. In the past, he has said that Cheryl wants to help him but that he's "too far gone". Celebritree thinks she could have bunged him a few quid if he was that desperate...
Apparently this is a photo of Cheryl's brother. Not really seeing the family resemblance though...
