Please TomKat, buy Suri some tights!

Suri and Katie have been seen out shopping again, in the snow covered streets of Vancouver, currently enjoying temperatures of around -1∘C. Presumably Suri's favourite faux fur number is at the dry cleaners, as she chose a pink puffa jacket to keep the chill out today. However, Celebritree is most concerned that, even though she teamed her jacket with some furry pink Uggs, Suri still doesn't seem to own a pair of tights to keep her wee legs warm. Her dress looked decidedly flimsy too. Isn't it time someone took Suri's fashion choices in hand, before she catches pneumonia?! You're not in California now, Suri!

Suri shops again

It seems Suri can't get enough of the shops in Vancouver, as she and mum, Katie, ventured out again, whilst Tom is busy filming MIssion Impossible 171 or something.
This time, rather than footwear, Suri was paying a visit to the beauty counter in Holt Renfrew, trying out various lipsticks on the back of her hand, as she attempted to find the perfect shade. Apparently mum treated her to some nail polish and lipstick before the pair headed off for another trip to Starbucks. (Clearly Suri needs her caffeine kicks as part of her shopping routine!) However, Suri did prove at Starbucks that, despite all the evidence to the contrary, she is just a kid, after all, as she threw a major tantrum, until Katie promised her a cookie if she put a sock in it! Remarkably, a little blackmail worked wonders... How does that fit with the Scientology philosophy, Katie?

Suri helps Katie choose some new shoes

Katie Holmes was shopping for shoes this week in Vancouver, with daughter Suri on hand to help her pick. Apparently Suri tried on every pair of shoes that her mum showed an interest in, as well as picking out any that took her fancy, and paraded around in them. Any that didn't make the Suri glamour grade were hidden away (so Celebritree is guessing that Katie didn't wind up with a pair of sensible loafers) and it looks like these strappy gold sandals were Suri's faves...

Suri takes fashion tips from Victoria Beckham

Now Suri Cruise is normally known as a fashion leader - after all, where she goes, her mother, Katie Holmes, dares to follow. This week, Suri visited her mum on the set of her new movie, Jack & Jill, and, for unknown reasons (other than perhaps cute photo opportunities), a petting zoo was thrown into the mix. Suri seemed to have a whale of a time and can be seen with sheep, rabbits etc. However, Celebritree couldn't help but notice that she was following fashion icon, Victoria Beckham (who last week visited a safari park in a (hopefully) fake fur coat). However, Celebritree was more than a little concerned about Suri's apparent paradox dressing: surely if it's cold enough for fur, her bare legs must be feeling ever so chilly..?

Suri shows celebs how to work cold weather fashion

Suri Cruise has been showing all those inappropriately dressed celebs (take note Cheryl Cole in your strapless silk jumpsuit) just how to work the latest fashion trends in the cold weather, as she stepped out to the shops with her mum in a fake fur coat and colourful wellies in clashing red and pink, with a modest heel. Katie is managing to look a bit more cheerful than she was at her birthday last month, despite the news that the History Channel has pulled her mini-series on the Kennedys - apparently due to historical inaccuracy. Never mind, Katie - Celebritree is fairly sure that some of the other US networks won't be so concerned about taking the moral high ground.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Katie has picked Jackie O and Suri as her main fashion influences. Suri enjoys picking her mother's clothes, as well as her own - choosing which shops they visit, as well as what to buy when they get there. Well, maybe there are a few other celebrities who could do with Suri's "eye".
And maybe Suri could make the perfect match for fellow underage fashionista, Romeo Beckham, who, aged 8, has already made number 28 in GQ's best dressed men list. These two could take the fashion world by storm in years to come!

Suri and Katie get into Christmas spirit

Suri Cruise and mum, Katie Holmes, were seen in Vancouver at Stanley Park, getting into the Christmas spirit with a festive train journey round the park. Here they are seen meeting a rather scary snowman. Suri, for once, seems to have spent the evening standing on her own feet - for once, wearing sensible shoes! The girls are back in Canada whilst Tom works on Mission Impossible 4.

Suri keen for stardom

It seems stardom cannot come too soon for Suri Cruise, as it is claimed that she is pestering her mum, Katie Holmes, to let her start a music or movie career. It seems that Suri has been inspired by her good friend and new popstrel, Willow Smith. Willow's parents, Will and Jada, have been good friends with TomKat for some years and 4 year old Suri seems to idolise ten year old Willow.
Still, Katie is said to be concerned that her daughter is growing up too soon. Err, shouldn't you have thought of that before you started dressing her in heels and lip gloss...?

Trick or Treat

Katie Holmes was rumoured to have spent thousands on Suri Cruise's Halloween rigout so Celebritree was keen to see what splendour Suri had stepped out in for her trick and treating. Seemed like pretty standard fare - as usual Suri was dressed as a princess - the only difference being that on this occasion her outfit screamed artificial fibres. Stand clear of those pumpkin laterns Suri!

Suri ballerina

Suri Cruise is back home in California with mum, whilst dad is busy filming in Prague (it's all happening in eastern Europe at the moment, isn't it, with Tom in Prague and the Jolie-Pitt clan in Budapest?) She had been for her ballet class in her ballet slippers and tutu (clearly v different from ballet classes when Celebritree was Suri's age - you had to be a prima ballerina before they let you out of the unflattering black leotard) and enjoyed a treat from Baskin' Robbins as Katie carried her home. Does anyone else wonder why Katie is all togged up for a chilly day whilst Suri has bare arms, legs and an ice cream?

Suri has an off day

Celebritree can only imagine that Suri was having an off day as she and her mum headed out shopping. As regular readers know, Suri makes all the sartorial decisions in the Cruise household - well she hasn't let herself down, as she steps out in perfectly coordinated pink outfit. However, mum, Katie looks a bit of a dowdy mess. Was Suri having an off day or has Katie rebelled and made some wardrobe choices of her own? If so, Celebritree suggests she put Suri back on dressing duty asap.

Troubles with TomKat?

Katie Holmes told this month's Marie Claire magazine that she is in no hurry to produce a little brother or sister for Suri. Apparently Katie was the youngest child and her siblings were quite a bit older than her, meaning she felt like an only one - and enjoyed the feeling of having all of her mother's attention for herself. Clearly that's what she wants to replicate for Suri.
However, according to The National Enquirer, Scientologist Tom is not at all happy about his wife blabbing about his private life to the press (err, he's so private with his jumping around on Oprah's sofa) and feels that she is letting him down (or could she be breaking that supposed marriage contract) by not producing a second child. Celebritree thinks it's probably best to let Suri decide - she seems to rule the roost...

Carried away in Prague

The Cruise family are currently staying in Prague whilst Tom films scenes for Mission Impossible 4. Last night Tom and Katie headed out for dinner with a tired Suri (complete with dolly in pram) in tow. Clearly the jet set lifestyle is starting to get to Suri though, as she became too tired to walk, demanding a lift from dad, whilst poor Katie was left to cart the buggy along.
It looks to Celebritree as if Katie might need a lift herself - don't her shoes look a tad big?

Cruise girls head to NYC for dinner

The Cruise girls (Katie, Suri and Katie's step-daughter, Bella) headed to New York yesterday for dinner, as Katie took a break from filming mini-series, The Kennedys, in Toronto. They took a private jet for the short flight - Katie (of course) carried Suri to the plane (and was later seen carrying her to and from the restaurant), whilst Bella seemed to be carrying a plate of something (what COULD it be?) and looking genuinely thrilled to be flying to NYC for dinner with dad.
A good time was, no doubt, had by all.

Suri is now bidding for domination of the fashion world

Katie Holmes has been giving a rare interview and revealing her daughter's latest ambitions - four year old Suri, apparently doesn't just select her clothes, but rather customises them as well: "She says, 'I want this sleeve cut,' and it's like, 'Okay, we'll cut it.' She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was one-and-a-half."
Apparently Katie used to design Suri's clothes herself as she wanted her daughter to wear things that she had created. Unfortunately Katie's seamstress skills aren't up to scratch so someone else actually had to make them.
Suri doesn't just design her own clothes though - she picks them out for her mom too: "Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, (i.e. when Suri was two!) and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn't planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, 'Okay, I trust you.'"
Hmm, actress, director and now fashion designer - what next for the multi-talented Suri?!

Katie and Suri hit Starbucks

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise hit Starbucks in Toronto, with Suri working the kids from Fame look in leotard, flouncy blouse, leggings and ballet pumps. Katie and Suri are staying in Canada whilst Katie works on TV series, The Kennedys and Dad, Tom, travels the world with Cameron Diaz, plugging their movie, Knight and Day.

Suri makes friends

Celebritree can't remember the last time Suri Cruise was seen with someone of her own age. So it's a refreshing change to find that Suri has befriended the actress playing Caroline Kennedy. It certainly seems more normal than her trying to convince Cameron Diaz to hand over a dress that Suri took a fancy to. Surprising, really, that TomKat hasn't yet had Suri in front of the camera - but Katie's convinced that she can do whatever she wants and she'll be amazing. Of course.

Suri set for stardom?

How could the daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise be anything other than a star? Well, the couple are apparently taking no risks, with Suri already being prepped for stardom with singing, dancing and acting lessons. It seems she likes nothing more than putting on her own shows for the family, with Tom making sure she says her lines "with real feeling". Her sister, Isabella, helps her make the tickets for these great events - hmm, that must be a lot of fun...

Suri travels back in time

Are there no end to Suri's talents? Here she is, having travelled back in time to the Camelot years... Of course, it's mum Katie, who is playing the part of Jackie O, in a new TV series. No doubt, Suri was entertaining the entire crew - Tom has told on his current promo tour how Suri entertained the Knight & Day folk, making them all giggle with her antics as she took over the director's chair and made up her own scenes. No, there really is no end to Suri's talents...

Celebrating the 4th July

The Cruise-Holmes clan enjoyed being reunited in California for the Independence Day weekend - a double celebration as it was also Tom's birthday.
Suri was even walking, wearing normal children's shoes and everything - Celebritree could hardly believe it!

Strawberry picking with Katie and Suri

Katie Holmes is currently filming some documentary in Canada. She and Suri ventured out strawberry picking at the weekend. So far, so normal. And indeed, Katie is more than suitably attired in her boots, jeans and casual check shirt. But who takes their kid strawberry picking in a nightie, barefoot?
Come on Katie! Sort it out (and for goodness sake, buy Suri some sensible shoes - surely Shiloh has some she could lend her...)
