Carey Mulligan has been named best dressed woman of the year by Harper's Bazaar, beating usual best dressed suspects, Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss to the title. Controversial decision?

Madge's Birthday Bash Part I

So Madonna went all out to 'celebrate' her 52nd birthday at a bash at Soho House on Saturday night. She had 13 year old daughter, Lourdes, in tow, as well as slighly older boyfriend, Jesus. The guest list seemed a slightly bizarre choice with no Gwyneth, Stella, Trudi Styler etc in sight. Rather, they were replaced by Billie Piper and hubby, Claudia Winkleman (is Madge thinking of appearing on Strictly? Now THAT Celebritree would like to see!) and Paul Whitehouse. The only thing this odd mix has in common is their ability to follow instrucctions to the letter - all turning up in black, as instructed. Looks like they all had a whale of a time at the (no doubt) macrobiotic evening, eh?!

Gwyneth enjoys the Hamptons - for now

Gwyneth Paltrow is enjoying some chill-out time with children, Apple and Moses, at their Hamptons home. No sign of Daddy, Chris Martin, though. This year's holiday break is proving slightly more complicated, as rumours are flying around that Gwyneth has had a major falling out with her old pal, Madonna, who has a home nearby. Thankfully, Madge is busy working on her new movie about Wallis Simpson in London at the mo, but should she make her way out to her Hamptons home, insiders expect things to be awkward: the close-knit Hamptons summer community will make it difficult for the warring pair to avoid each other....

VB still under the weather

Victoria Beckham has been zipping back to Nice to continue with her holiday (why doesn't she just HAVE a holiday? What is with all this trekking backwards and forwards? We all know she has lots of airmiles, but is it REALLY necessary to use them all up going backwards and forwards over and over?)
Anyway, after her alleged weekend of partying, it seems poor Posh is paying the price now, as she self-consciously tried to hide a cold sore appearing on her upper lip. Poor Posh! And certainly a sign to her that her immune system is run down and she should take it easy. But rather than coming to Celebritree for some advice, it seems Posh has turned to Gwyneth Paltrow, who has recommended cupping to open up the energy and blood flow, yada yada yada.
For some reason, Posh didn't see fit to attempt to hide the resulting strange blemishes on her back.
