Take That Chillax in Barbados
One notable absentee from the Take That gathering is Robbie Williams, said to be back in LA with his new wife, Ayda. Could it be that the boys' recovered friendship has rather more basis in Robbie's need to revive his career, after a severe dip in his popularity/record sales/income than genuine forgiveness and friendship? Or is Celebritree just being a little cynical?

Robbie wedding - photos at last!
Robbie has come over all classy and sold his wedding photos to Hello! magazine (which may explain the delay in Celebritree's subscription delivery this week, as they hurried to get the photos in the magazine after Saturday's bid day). So, at last we get to see some pics of Ayda's dress and all the big stars (err, Jonathan Wilkes et al).
Still it seems there may be a follow up event - Ayda apparently spent an hour on the phone to her estranged father in Turkey just before the wedding and now she and Robbie are talking about having a second wedding for her dad to attend. Watch this space...

Robbie does the deed
The couple signed a prenup to ensure Robbie has protected his £85m fortune. He showed his romantic side by referring to Ayda as his Swiss Army knife (because she knows about football and can fix the DVD player, natch!) and Jonathan Wilkes carried out best man duties.
Guests included Hugh Dancy and Clare Danes - so with Jonathan Wilkes, not exactly high on the star count. And, apparently, there was no booze - as Robbie has had problems on that score in the past. Hmm, must have been a fun do!

So why has Robbie decided to return to Take That?
Readers may recall the ITV documentary that brought the Take That boys back together. At the time, Robbie (aka the big star of TT), proved himself to be pretty bitter when he refused to rock up for the reunion and left a video for the others to watch - hardly showing himself to be gracious in his apparent victory. So, interesting to wonder how they are all getting along now they are busy filming the video for new single, Shame, together. Apparently this is just the beginning and Robbie will be back with the rest of the boys for a new album and tour.
What could have persuaded him to swallow his pride, Celebritree wonders? Well, apparently the song contains a line that might be a clue: describing how Robbie wandered into a shop and saw a box of 4 Take That dolls - and felt left out. Hmm, obviously UFO spotting wasn't proving lucrative enough for the Robster...

Look out Haiti!
He also put in his annual appearance at the Unicef Soccer Aid event, shown on TV last night. Gary Barlow was there too to support his new bessie mate. The two are planning to record a song together for Robbie's Greatest Hits. The duet is going to be released in October, preceding his album.
Could Robbie be planning a return to Take That?

"Robbie saved my life"
Geri Halliwell has confessed to Piers Morgan (does anyone else think it's weird that celebs and politicians are lining up to confess their deepest darkest secrets to Piers - who, not so long ago, was celebrity enemy no. 1 as Editor of the Mirror?) that she nearly died after leaving the Spice Girls. Thankfully Robbie Williams was on hand to save her from herself (note to readers: if Celebritree's life is on the line, please allow her to die peacefully rather than inflict Robbie and all his issues on her) and brought her back from the brink. Geri has spoken before about her issues with bulimia and admitted to Piers that she still attends overeaters anonymous sessions to help her cope with her relationship with food. Celebritree wonders what the other people at these sessions look like - are there lots of stick-thin people attending overeaters anonymous sessions? Maybe Geri should take Nadine along next time for some company...
