David settles back into London life

David Beckham doesn't seem to be able to stop smiling at the moment. He has been spotted out training with Tottenham Hotspur this week, and then enjoying a few pints down the pub with some of his team mates. However, his contract with LA Galaxy means he won't actually be able to play today when Tottenham face his former club, Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Victoria still hasn't been showing off much of a baby bump, although she has been looking a little tired as she keeps herself busy preparing for New York fashion week, and searching for a property in NYC so she can more comfortably split her time between LA, NYC and London. Still no news on the due date, but Celebritree reckons it will probably be a July baby.
If Victoria is feeling a little tired and drawn, maybe that would explain rumours of her falling out with her fellow Spice Girls. Mel B is supposedly in a mood with Victoria after she wanted to "borrow" some dresses from her friend's collection for her reality show, It's a Scary World. Apparently Victoria refused to lend her any, claiming that the sample sizes wouldn't fit curvy Mel. A source defended Victoria, claiming that Mel is known for borrowing stuff that she never returns.
Now it seems that Victoria and Geri have exchanged cross words - or rather not. Apparently Geri is keen to get her designer friend's advice for her new swimwear collection for Next. Victoria considers this rather beneath her own status and doesn't appreciate Geri's persistent calls, claiming that they are now "both designers" and so has started to ignore her voicemails and texts.
Be careful, Victoria, or you might have to chum up with felllow girl band outcast, Nadine Coyle!

Spice fashion

Earlier this month, Victoria Beckham's first line of high priced handbags sold out within an hour on website, Net-A-Porter. Now, fellow Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell is launching her own fashion line. Geri is focusing on swimwear which she models herself in the Next catalogue - slightly more affordable than the Posh handbags.

Comeback Queen

Watch out! Apparently Geri Halliwell is back in the studio recording a new solo album. Sadly she doesn't have a record deal, but the great thing now is that you have enough money, self-belief and the right contacts, you can record and release your own album on your own label - thereby keeping all the spondoolies yourself. Geri's master plan for chart domination begins with recording a dance version of a classic favourite track - the only issue being that she can't choose one, so is texting her mates, including Victoria Beckham, for suggestions. Any ideas for Geri, Celebritree readers?

Ginger goes Posh

No sign of the fight from their holiday in St Tropez, as Geri Halliwell and her beau, Henry Beckwith, enjoyed the Cartier Polo Tournament, with fellow spectators such as Prince Charles. Geri poured herself into a blue bandage dress for the occasion, and was all smiles.

Rumour has it that the Spice Girls may be reuniting for a film sequel to Spice World: the movie. They've allegedly roped in the brains behind Mamma Mia! and will combine a stage show and film. Let's hope they've all been working on their acting skills since the last movie...

Danielle Lloyd has a boy

Danielle Lloyd and her footballing partner, Jamie O'Hara (who plays for Spurs), celebrated the birth of a son today, Archie O'Hara. Archie was born today at the Portland Hospital (celeb-birth venue extraordinaire - favoured by Danielle's mate, Katie Price, as well as the Spice Girls, Claudia Schiffer and Fergie), weighing in at 8lb 4oz. No doubt the magazine deal will follow shortly...

Geri and Henry fall out

It looks like Geri and her beau, Henry Beckwith, were not having a happy holiday in St Tropez. Henry's wandering eye was apparently the cause - as they walked along the beach, Geri clocked him checking out an attractive passer-by dressed in a bikini top and some skimpy hotpants. Geri appeared to lose the plot completely and proceeded to rage at Henry. Celebritree supposes that he's on a short leash after recent photos of him holding hands with an anonymous young lady in the back of a car emerged...

X Factor not resounding success

Apparently Geri's appearance as an X Factor judge went down in Glasgow like a cup of cold sick. Geri may have misjudged the crowd (or her own ability to cope with it) when she refused to put through a young singer called Katie, after Louis and Cheryl put her through. Geri sided with Simon with her casting vote, apparently causing the crowd to jeer her. Geri allegedly stormed off. The nation's sweetheart®, meanwhile, has apparently signed a deal for the US with Will.i.am's record label and has been voted the nation's favourite WAG by Now magazine readers (clearly a bit on the slow side as she can barely be considered a WAG any more). Lovely Louise Redknapp was beaten into second place by Chezza.
Apparently Pixie Lott is next up to have a fash-off with Cheryl / take the spare judge's seat in the X Factor. Let's hope she gets a better reception than Geri (aka Gobby Spice - according to Simon).

X Factor Kicks off Filming

Well, the X Factor kicked off the audition stage of filming yesterday in Glasgow. Whilst Danni parades her bump around Oz, Geri Halliwell has stepped into her tiny shoes as a guest judge. Of course, Geri has experience in this role, having been part of the panel with Pete Waterman and fellow X Factor judge, Louis Walsh, for Popstars: The Rivals - and thereby helping to discover Cheryl and her Girls Aloud bandmates. (Of course, they were also responsible for One True Voice - but they are probably best forgotten!)
Simon has obviously decided that small judges are the route to success as another guest judge is rumoured to be pocket-sized popstar, Prince.
Meanwhile, X Factor's ratings competition, Strictly Come Dancing, is revamping its line up again with favourites, Darren and Lilia, Matthew Cutler and Brian Fortuna rumoured to be sidelined into a professional dancing troupe rather than being paired with 'celebrity' partners. When will the producers learn that we just need better qualified celebs and Brucey's part minimised for a better show?!

Spice Girls to Reform?

Seems that now Emma has finished her stint as a judge on Dancing on Ice, Mel C has reached the end of her West End run, Geri wants to do something other than hang around with Tamara Beckwith's brother and Mel B has finished inflicting crappy haircuts on her two daughters, the Spice Girls have decided it might be fun to record a new album and go on tour again.

Except, of course, some eagle-eyed Spicettes may have noticed VB's name is not in that list. For it seems that the one who was so often derided as the talentless member actually DOES have better things to do. After the embarassment of getting the biggest cheers for doing diddlysquat (other than posing and pouting) on their last reunion tour, Posh has decided that although she loves reminscing about the Spice Girls days, she has hung up her microphone for good and is sticking to the fashion world now.

Geri - love life back on track?

Goodness! It seems aeons since we heard from any of the Spice Girls (apart from VB of course) and now two are in the news at once. Unlucky in love Geri had seemingly found lasting love with Tamara Beckwith's baby brother, Henry. Today they were giving a show of unity outside Pineapple studios (as you do) in central London after he was spotted holding hands with another blonde after a big night out over the weekend. Judging by the offending photo, Henry doesn't look in a fit state to know who or what is clutching his hand, but it certainly looks like Geri might have been riled as she performs a full on PDA performance with Harry (her boyfriend, not her dog).

Victoria - to gain weight?

Victoria Beckham's sister, Louise, is expecting a baby girl and it seems that this has inspired Victoria to start porking up to give her a better chance of conceiving and realising her and David's dreams of a daughter. So perhaps there is a chance of her eating the pasta and tiramisu fest the Beckham boys have planned for her birthday after all!
Meanwhile, Geri has been blabbering on to Piers Morgan about who the favourite Spice Girls are. Geri believes herself to be second following Emma (surely never managing to offend anyone, does not necessarily make you the favourite) and has declared that Victoria is near the bottom as she is like Marmite - people either love her or hate her. Well, from Celebritree's outing at the Spice Girls' final tour, there was a lorra love in the O2 for Posh...

"Robbie saved my life"

Geri Halliwell has confessed to Piers Morgan (does anyone else think it's weird that celebs and politicians are lining up to confess their deepest darkest secrets to Piers - who, not so long ago, was celebrity enemy no. 1 as Editor of the Mirror?) that she nearly died after leaving the Spice Girls. Thankfully Robbie Williams was on hand to save her from herself (note to readers: if Celebritree's life is on the line, please allow her to die peacefully rather than inflict Robbie and all his issues on her) and brought her back from the brink. Geri has spoken before about her issues with bulimia and admitted to Piers that she still attends overeaters anonymous sessions to help her cope with her relationship with food. Celebritree wonders what the other people at these sessions look like - are there lots of stick-thin people attending overeaters anonymous sessions? Maybe Geri should take Nadine along next time for some company...
