Nicola McLean - Matchmaker Extraordinaire

Nicola McLean, glamour model, WAG, former I'm a Celeb contestant and professional friend of Peter Andre, has shown great potential as a matchmaker. She has told Now magazine that she would love to set up her mate Pete with Charlotte Church - on the basis that they are both great parents.
Hmm, if life really was that simple, Nicola... After all, Katie Price was voted 'mum of the year' not so long ago...
Btw, 'Katie's' new book is looking like it will be number one in the book charts this week. And people say Britain is dumbing down - how dare they! I mean, people are still buying books...

Char in Cardiff; Gav in Glasgow

After their separation, today's papers show how the former 'Welsh Posh 'n' Becks' are bearing up following the end of their relationship. Charlotte was out and about in Cardiff showing the strain of being a single mum, whilst ex-fiance, Gavin, made an appearance at Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow with Michelle Mone and her hubby - presumably in a bid to quash rumours of a romance between Gav and the undies entrepreneur. Gav was looking well after another holiday in Alicante. Isn't it time Char got a break, Gav?

Charlotte and Gavin - another celebrity coupling bites the dust

It seems like just yesterday that Charlotte and Gavin were announcing the news of their engagement. Just a few weeks later, the news has emerged that the couple have split. They have stated that nobody else is involved, but rumour has it that Char had been jealous of Gav's relationship with Susie Amy (actress from Footballers' Wives) - they have been filming a reality show together, in Norway.
Gavin has decided to avoid the press fracas by going off on a lads' holiday in Benidorm, having just returned from filming in Norway, and another lads' holiday in LA. Meanwhile, Charlotte was being comforted by her mum and ventured out to take their kids, Ruby and Dexter, to McDonald's - cutting a rather sad figure.
'Friends' close to the couple say that the split isn't entirely unexpected as the couple had been rowing continuously over the last 18 months or so. Whilst Charlotte has slimmed down and focused on her career, Gavin's career seems to have been on the slide - so that he is now appearing on reality shows with Susie Amy and Shane Ritchie.

Slimline Charlotte still knows how to have fun

According to The Sun Charlotte Church spent this weekend out and about in Shoreditch with some girlfriends. Charlotte was out letting down her hair after no doubt working hard on Somewhere over the Rainbow. A few years ago, we were all used to seeing Charlotte falling out of bars with a cheeky Vimto in one hand and a fag in the other, but since settling down with Gavin Henson and having two children, she's been a lot quieter.
No doubt she'll be thrilled to see the fetching pics of her collapsed on a sofa, before her friends carried her to a cab. She must have been missing Gav though as she kept snogging one of her mates....

A Church wedding at last...

Charlotte Church has revealed to OK magazine that her partner of 5 years and father of her 2 children - Ruby and Dexter, Gavin Henson, has finally decided to make an honest woman of her and proposed. Apparently Gavin arranged for a private helicopter to pick him and his hungover wife up the morning after her birthday to take them to that hotbed of romance, Truro. He proposed with Charlotte's dream heart-shaped diamond ring. They wanted to keep their engagement secret for a while, but Charlotte has decided the time/price is right to tell OK magazine all about it.

Certainly Charlotte is looking all prepared for her wedding day, physique wise, after getting in shape for the latest BBC-Lord Lloyd Webber offering, Over the Rainbow. Apparently Charlotte is taking her fitness very seriously with karate, jujitsu (whatever that is) and boxercise with a martial arts expert several times a week. She has also apparently given up eating junk, although Celebritree reckons that she might need to give up the fags if she's serious about keeping up with her ultra-fit husband.
