Latest Strictly Rumours

So, as the big announcement for this year's Strictly Come Dancing draws closer, the rumours of the contenders are hotting up. Of course, we all know about Felicity Kendall, Anne Widdecombe, Patsy Kensit and Gavin Henson.
The latest revelations have added rapper, Goldie, the other one from Destiny's Child (Michelle Williams), Robbie Williams' mate (Jonathan Wilkes) and Celebritree favourites, Peter Andre and Kerry Katona into the mix.
In a quest to ensure that nobody can accuse the dancers of being more famous than the contestants, it seems they've decided that in case of not being able to attract the stars, they have just decided to get new dancers.

Strictly Update

So, this season's Strictly is looking to be a cracker, despite the apparent loss of the lovely Matthew Cutler as a partner to a celeb. Brucie is going to be stepping back a little as he can't cope with the heavy schedule of two shows per week, so will be gracing our screens on Saturdays only. No news on whether Tess will manage alone on Sunday or bring in an alternative (Claudia gets Celebritree's vote - she's great and related to royalty, to boot now!)

Contestants will allegedly include Patsy Kensit, Gavin Henson (nothing like a bit of a tango to help you through a divorce, Pats and Gav - just ask Jo Wood), Felicity Kendall and, dark horse, Ann Widdecombe. There are rumours that instead of a flat fee, this year celebs will be paid according to the number of shows they appear in - thereby heating up the competition. Bring it on!

Char in Cardiff; Gav in Glasgow

After their separation, today's papers show how the former 'Welsh Posh 'n' Becks' are bearing up following the end of their relationship. Charlotte was out and about in Cardiff showing the strain of being a single mum, whilst ex-fiance, Gavin, made an appearance at Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow with Michelle Mone and her hubby - presumably in a bid to quash rumours of a romance between Gav and the undies entrepreneur. Gav was looking well after another holiday in Alicante. Isn't it time Char got a break, Gav?

Charlotte and Gavin - another celebrity coupling bites the dust

It seems like just yesterday that Charlotte and Gavin were announcing the news of their engagement. Just a few weeks later, the news has emerged that the couple have split. They have stated that nobody else is involved, but rumour has it that Char had been jealous of Gav's relationship with Susie Amy (actress from Footballers' Wives) - they have been filming a reality show together, in Norway.
Gavin has decided to avoid the press fracas by going off on a lads' holiday in Benidorm, having just returned from filming in Norway, and another lads' holiday in LA. Meanwhile, Charlotte was being comforted by her mum and ventured out to take their kids, Ruby and Dexter, to McDonald's - cutting a rather sad figure.
'Friends' close to the couple say that the split isn't entirely unexpected as the couple had been rowing continuously over the last 18 months or so. Whilst Charlotte has slimmed down and focused on her career, Gavin's career seems to have been on the slide - so that he is now appearing on reality shows with Susie Amy and Shane Ritchie.

A Church wedding at last...

Charlotte Church has revealed to OK magazine that her partner of 5 years and father of her 2 children - Ruby and Dexter, Gavin Henson, has finally decided to make an honest woman of her and proposed. Apparently Gavin arranged for a private helicopter to pick him and his hungover wife up the morning after her birthday to take them to that hotbed of romance, Truro. He proposed with Charlotte's dream heart-shaped diamond ring. They wanted to keep their engagement secret for a while, but Charlotte has decided the time/price is right to tell OK magazine all about it.

Certainly Charlotte is looking all prepared for her wedding day, physique wise, after getting in shape for the latest BBC-Lord Lloyd Webber offering, Over the Rainbow. Apparently Charlotte is taking her fitness very seriously with karate, jujitsu (whatever that is) and boxercise with a martial arts expert several times a week. She has also apparently given up eating junk, although Celebritree reckons that she might need to give up the fags if she's serious about keeping up with her ultra-fit husband.
