Katie protects her kids from publicity at X-Factor show

Just a couple of months ago, Katie Price was claiming all the publicity her kids were getting was doing them no good and said she wanted to withdraw them from the public eye. Still last night Junior and Princess both debuted new hair styles as they went along to watch the X Factor finalists' tour. Katie's new squeeze was carrying Junior, who seemed to have taken inspiration from his mother's latest lover when styling his locks. Not sure where Princess got her inspiration from - but she has clearly been at the straightening irons again! And where DID her mum get those boots?!
No doubt Pete will have plenty to say about the whole fiasco, especially as Leandro has been overheard saying in Spanish that he has no plans to stick around in the UK and will soon be dumping Katie and returning to Argentina, where he is already a big star. Of course, the fact that Katie has a new show starting on Sky Living tomorrow will certainly not have discouraged her from avidly pursuing this latest romance....

What Katie did next...

OK, Celebritree admits to being a little slack of late, and clearly it's been a long time in celebville, for Katie Price has gone from admitting that she still shares a bed with Alex Reid, her ex, to saying that she really doesn't fancy him that much at all - especially after meeting some hot Argentine model type during her stay in LA for the Oscars. The hot Argentine, Leandro, has now been flown over to the UK by Katie to get up to goodness knows what. The pair have been seen dining out together several times, although always apparently with Katie's GBFs, Phil and Gary, in tow. Apparently Leandro is very famous in Argentina, but has limited knowledge of English. Are Phil and/or Gary secretly fluent in Spanish and acting as translators, Celebritree wonders? Anyway, Katie has admitted that, as she doesn't understand anything he says, she's not really with him for his mind. Leandro has said that he's not with Katie for her fame (and Celebritree assumes that not speaking English is probably an advantage when dating Katie as he won't understand all of her inane tweets, or any of the stories of her past). Meanwhile, Alex has spent days crying into his pillow and wondering how she could do this to him. Err.. look at her past Alex, littered with the exes she has chewed up and spat out - and move on!

Another show of flesh

Madonna seems to have taken tips from Katie Price when selecting her outfit for the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party, choosing to show off a lot of leg and even a bit of bum and cleavage, in her lace/fishnet number. She covered up what little modesty she has with a strange fur gilet. Instead of accessorising with her usual boy toy, Madge rocked up at the party with her daughter, Lourdes. Poor Lola looked slightly embarrassed as she got an eyeful of her mum's bum, and self-consciously pulled down her own rather short dress at the back. Give it a few years and Celebritree thinks we can expect to see Princess pulling some similar moves....

Katie's Classy Oscar Outing

Well, Celebritree has to say that the Oscar gowns proved to be somewhat disappointing this year - most celebs seemed to playing it safe this year. Or ruining a perfectly nice dress with some crazy bustle action (stand up, Anne Hathaway)...
So, thank goodness for Elton John extending the invite to his AIDS Foundation party to all and sundry - and Katie Price. For once, Katie went quite minimal with her hair and make up, but went all out with her frock, ignoring the basic fashion rules: less is more and legs OR cleavage, choosing to show off all her assets...
No sign of Victoria Beckham. Had she run out clutch bags with which to hide her bump? Or just working really hard at avoiding Katie, after nearly running into her earlier this week at Heathrow?

Katie's Big Deal

Katie Price is keeping busy in LA. After arriving on the same flight as (and therefore fighting for the paps' attention with) Cheryl Cole, things seem to be going rather better for Katie. She has apparently signed a multi-million dollar deal with Parmount Pictures to make a movie of her rise from page three model to high-flying business woman. She has also been out partying with GBFs, Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner, at celeb favourite, Chateau Marmont; and has been seen cosying up with boxer Amir Khan.
Some images have also suggested that Katie is working on "self-improvement" as well as having a good time. Aside from her London marathon training with her brother, she has also been spotted with some rather swollen lips, suggesting that she hasn't quite given up the botox etc for good...
It seems Katie might not have moved on in other ways. Alex is apparently being allowed to stay in her home whilst she's away and she has admitted that, although divorce is going ahead, she and Alex are still enjoying intimate relations (although Katie put it rather more crudely)...

Another busy week for Katie Price

It's been another busy week for Katie Price as she has thrown herself back into single life with a night out on the town with one of the cameramen from her latest documentary. She ensured maximum pap attention by wearing a very short skirt with these tasteful leopard print thigh-high boots. The good news for anyone who fancies emanating Katie's look is that, not content with her kids' clothing and equestrian ranges, she has now bought a "high-end" fashion line, called Day 22. The plan is to release new items on the 22nd of each month. Hmm, can't wait.
However, Katie has apparently spent Valentine's weekend with her ex-husband at a spa hotel, where she checked into a suite. However, she's claiming that romance is far from her mind and that they are thrashing out the details of their divorce, with Alex allegedly holding out for a big pay off.
In case Katie manages to find any spare time in between taking her kids to the sauna, designing clothes, writing books, negotiating her divorce and enjoying nights on the town, she has also entered this year's London Marathon. She will be racing her other ex-husband's new squeeze, as Elen Rivas is also taking on the challenge.

Katy and Russell heading the same way as Katie and Alex?

Rumours are rife at the moment that Katy Perry and Russell Brand have already hit a troubled patch, just three months into their marriage. Fuel has been added to the fire this weekend after Katy appeared alone at some pre-Grammy's bash in LA, whilst Russ was in NYC, filming an appearance on a TV show. The rumour is that the trouble all started when Russell posted a picture of Katy looking a little rough and without her usual warpaint. Katy went mad and responded by asking friends for recommendations of marriage counsellors. The two have been spending less time together, and although Katy has factored in husband time during her world tour, the two are apparently finding it hard to manage their careers and their marriage.
Hmm, if this goes Pete Tong, Katy could be giving another Katie a run for her money in the wedding $ spent per day of marriage competition...

Katie plans to take on the US

As Katie despairs of ever getting Alex Reid out of her house (err, have you tried pest control Katie?) she is planning her next trip to Los Angeles at the end of the month. No doubt this will involve various tinkering with her teeth, botox and fake tans, as she plans to head to the Oscars (or at least, Elton John's infamous post-Oscar party). Rumour has it that she could also be up for a job on the US X Factor, although this seems rather unlikely. Just last week the rumours were that she was about to take Cheryl's spot on the UK version of the show - surely she can't be out to conquer the US like Chezza?!
In fact, Katie seems to be preparing to take on the world as she also plans to launch her equestrian range in China and Japan...
In more shocking news, apparently Alex is consulting "experts" to help him cash in on his split from Katie and sell his story. Is Max Clifford being kept busy then?
Last night Katie decided to drown her sorrows as she headed out to a nightclub in Essex with her sister and a group of friends, eventually emerging from the club looking rather the worst for wear, with her friends covering her in a red blanket. Not like Katie to keep a low profile!

Heir Apparent to the Hermes Handbag Collection?

It seems Victoria Beckham's wish for some female solidarity in her family may be due to come true. Apparently Victoria had a 4D 16 week scan at a Hertfordshire hospital this week (which would make baby Beckham due mid to late July) and the scan revealed that the Beckhams are expecting their much longed for daughter. However, previously the Beckhams have claimed that they had no intention of finding out the sex of the baby before the birth, so this story could be a load of codswallop.
If Victoria does get her daughter, she will, of course, inherit one of the world's greatest collections of Birkin handbags! Victoria has spoken of how she would love to dress a little girl up and paint her nails. Just don't get any ideas about straightening her hair, Victoria - Peter Andre has allegedly found straightener burns on poor Princess's sensitive little scalp, as Katie tries to tame those crazy curls!
Still Lourdes Leon (Madge's daughter) and Suri Cruise could soon have some real competition - after they were this week voted the most stylish celeb kids.
It is said that it is good for babies to play them music whilst they are still in the womb. However, the Beckhams have their own interpretation of this as they have taken to rapping to their unborn child. Hmm, maybe Victoria has recognised this might be a better option than her singing...

Princess visits the hair salon

Katie Price has been washing that man right out of her hair, with a visit to her hair salon. Three year old daughter, Princess was accompanying her and took to the hair straighteners.
Dad, Peter Andre, is not at all happy, as he feels that it's a shame to try to tame his daughter's crazy, curly locks. Toddlers' scalps are notoriously delicate and it's not advisable to use hot straighteners on such young heads.
Celebritree is also rather concerned by the leopard print coat that Katie has chosen for her daughter.... That girl is heading for trouble already!
Mind you, Katie ought to have other things on her mind: it has just been reported that, for the first time, Jordan Holdings actually reported a loss (- £366,923 to be exact). Now, her other company, Pricey Media, did manage to make a profit of £1,039, but could it be that Katie's star is finally fading?

Does Katie have the X Factor?

Although it's still not entirely clear whether the American producers of the US X Factor can understand a word that Geordie, Cheryl Cole, is saying (and therefore may be considering not giving her a place on the judging panel, instead favouring Katy Perry or Nicole Scherzinger), this hasn't prevented rumours about who is in line to replace Chezza on the UK version of the show. It seems ITV are desperate to keep Simon Cowell in place, and he recently signed a contract committing himself to the 2011 show at least, so Simon will be bouncing backwards and forwards across the Atlantic. When asked who he would like to have in the judging line up alongside him, Simon surprised us all by suggesting Katie Price! Now, Katie has previously suggested that she would love this gig, so this could be her big chance to turn public opinion round. Hmmm.
Celebritree has no doubt that Katie has the quick mind to come up with some acerbic put-downs for the wannabe pop stars, but considering she thought it a good idea to launch a singing career herself (despite a distinct lack of tunefulness), Celebritree is not sure that she's really in a position to judge who has the singing capability to make it to the top.
Still, one thing is for sure, can't see Katie and Dannii hitting it off, so expect lots more fireworks next year!
In other Katie news, it seems that she bought a secret country pad seven months ago, which her step-dad has been doing up, so even though Alex is refusing to move out of their marital home, Katie and her kids do have other housing options. Alex doesn't seem to have got the message and still isn't keen on the whole divorce idea, although some sources are now saying that he will accept the split on condition Katie buys him a flat. Presumably he's thinking luxury bachelor pad overlooking the Thames, rather than some studio in the suburbs...
And now it seems Alex may have had an accident after an ambulance was called out to their home whilst Alex as left home alone...

Katie targeting polo players?

Having tried footballers (Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham), pop stars (Gareth Gates, Dane Bowers, Peter Andre), Gladiators (Ace) and now cross-dressing cage fighters, Katie seems to have decided to move upmarket, as she was spotted out partying until the early hours in Klosters this morning, with a bunch of polo players. Onlookers described her as "a man-eater" with "raunchy dance moves" as she allegedly threw herself at any polo player in sight. The DJ at the event was under strict instructions not to play any Peter Andre tracks - amazingly, several people actually requested Mysterious Girl, apparently. Celebritree is surprised the DJ even had it in his record bag.
Katie's equestrian range is apparently the sponsor of the big snow polo event taking place in Klosters at the moment - hence her need to rent a £40,000/week 10 bedroom chalet. Rumour has it that the clientele turned slightly downmarket at the news of her involvement - normally Prince Charles and Jack Kidd would be attendees but seem to have given it a miss this year.
Joining Katie in her huge holiday abode are her sister and long-suffering mum, who seem to have been brought along on baby sitting duties for Harvey and Princess. No sign of Junior though, so Celebritree assumes he has chosen to hide out with his dad, rather than being on hand whilst his mum makes a show of herself.
Poor old Alex Reid has, of course, also been left behind. He has been spotted back at their marital home, despite Katie allegedly changing the locks and upgrading security, following the news of her split. Poor, naive Alex is still wearing his wedding ring, as he still hopes things might work out, that he also says he feels like an abandoned puppy.
Katie's statement announcing the end of her marriage and the fact that it had all been a big mistake (err, note mistake and NOT publicity stunt), seems to have been uttered without a hint of irony. Katie told the media that Alex was no longer the man she had married and had become a "fame-obsessed monster". Hmm, Katie, rearrange these words into a well known saying: KETTLE, CALLING, BLACK, POT...

Katie draws out the death of her marriage a little longer

Well the gossip surrounding Katie and Alex's marriage has continued all week. True to her constant need for publicity, Katie has released a statement to tell the media that she and her husband were planning to release a statement about their separation, but have decided to withdraw the statement after he refused to sign, claiming he needed more time, and she agreed, out of consideration for his feelings. (Err, maybe Katie, if you had thought about Alex's feelings before ranting at him in public and flirting with Amir Khan, you wouldn't be heading for the divorce courts again now.)
Alex is keeping pretty quiet, but is supposed to be devastated and concerned that, thanks to a lack of pre-nup, he will have to settle for the £250K that Katie is offering him, which Alex doesn't believe will even buy him somewhere to live.
There are various theories as to why the marriage went wrong: Alex's side claims that her flirtation with Amir Khan was to blame, whilst Katie says that she fell in love with an ordinary man (albeit a cross-dressing, cage-fighting one) and now he is fame hungry monster. Hmm, considering Katie employed herself as his manager, to get him more publicity, this doesn't seem to be a water-tight excuse.
Anyway, the whole unpleasant mess is being captured on camera for Katie's latest fly-on-the-wall show with Living/Virgin Media, and most sources seem to agree that this is the reason Katie is drawing out Alex's agony - it makes great TV. She claims that it was over before Christmas but she wanted to leave it until February "for the sake of the kids" - yes, it must have made for a great Christmas with so much tension in the air and paps hanging around as the media speculation built... Added into her TV mix are "secret" meetings and text exchanges with ex, Peter Andre. Alex was said to have kicked off after one particular exchange. Surely Peter has enough to do supporting his new girlfriend, Elen Rivas, as she prepares for her debut on Dancing on Ice? However, Katie claims that relationship is a "fake" publicity stunt (well she'd certainly know about those) and she's just fizzing about the whole thing...
Surely this will be the weeks when the Reid-Prices finally make it official?

Another Celeb Wedding

Although a festive romantic break in the Indian Ocean didn't seem to do the trick for her former bessie mate, Katie Price, and her husband, Alex Reid, it certainly proved a winner for Sarah Harding, whose boyfriend, Dan Crane, proposed to her on New Year's Day. The two are obviously thrilled as they sealed their love by telling the world how made up they are on Twitter. Hmm, really adds to the romance, your partner down on one knee, a diamond solitaire ring on your finger, a "yes" and then "wait, let me get my phone, I must quickly tweet all my friends, family and fans..."
So that's two Girls Aloud weddings to look forward to in 2011 - Nadine and Sarah. Who will the bridesmaids be? Presumably Katie won't be returning the favour for Sarah now that the two are no longer so close (Sarah was bridesmaid at Katie's wedding to Pete, though didn't make the cut for the Reid-Price blessing extravaganza) - although Celebritree would pay good money to see a peach taffeta face off between Katie, Cheryl and Nicola in OK! magazine...

Katie back to work

Essex girls were doubtless out en masse at the Lakeside Shopping Centre yesterday, as Katie Price made a personal appearance to promote and sign her equestrian and baby ranges at Debenhams, wearing a velour tracksuit and pink T-shirt (presumably from her own collection - not sure who else would have the cerebral power to come up with such a slogan: Horses are like chocolates - one is never enough). However, she couldn't seem to manage a smile to light up the lives of her fans.
She finally admitted on Twitter (where else?) that she and Alex are having marital problems, although dim-witted Alex is still denying them on his Twitter site (err, maybe he doesn't follow his wife's feeds?) Alex has apparently even said that he'd like to get advice from Peter Andre, as he's the only one who understands what he's going through - err, yes and that worked out really well, didn't it Alex?!
Katie is said to be fed up with Alex not following her fashion tips (look at this picture, would you take styling tips from this woman?) and the fact that he runs to his mum whenever the going gets tough. However, rumours are abound that Katie is anxious to keep the relationship going into February, as she doesn't want to have a marriage that lasted less than a year on her track record. Celebritree is just glad that Bingles got out before things turned sour...

New Year, New Love

A happy story for the New Year - it seems that Peter Andre and Frank Lampard's ex, Elen Rivas, have found love with each other, after meeting at a dinner party in November. They have apparently been on a few discreet dates before they were photographed this week leaving Claridge's together, after enjoying an evening there preceded by a visit to the theatre to see Flashdance: the musical.
Katie has given her ex's new relationship her blessing as she has said that her horse trainer, Andrew Gold (the man implicated in Katie and Pete's split) ran the marathon with Elen and says she's a lovely girl. Phew! That's alright then Pete!
Elen is clearly somewhat classier than Pete's ex, as she seems to be well covered for the inclement weather. No doubt we'll be seeing a lot more of Elen, doubtless in dodgy flesh coloured tights and sequins galore, as she gets her skates on for tonight's Dancing on Ice, along with Pete's close friend, Kerry Katona.
It's amazing Pete has found time for romance, as he has today been named "the hardest working act in pop music" after playing to 100,000 fans over 38 dates in his arena tour last year. Who'd have thought that Pete's music was so in demand?

New Year, new start 4?

The Reid-Prices have headed off on a romantic break to some remote resort in the Indian Ocean. Apparently the holiday is a last ditch attempt to save their marriage as Katie has been finding it hard to fit in time for her husband amidst all the personal appearances promoting her books, clothes and TV shows. Hmm, well let's hope some time alone does the trick. Still Carol Reid, Alex's mum, has told the press that the marriage is as solid as ever (although Celebritree is not sure that it's ever been so terribly solid - after all, they got spliced less than 3 months after breaking up...)
Still, it remains the bookies' favourite celeb marriage to end first in 2011...

The end is nigh?

Well Alex Reid and Katie Price haven't been seen in public together since early November, and Katie has recently been spotted several times without her wedding ring, and headed off on holiday (apparently on Christmas day) with her hairdresser, whilst Alex is at home focusing on his "acting career" and clubbing in Guildford.
All of this has led bookies to shorten odds on a Price-Reid split in 2011 to 7-4. The only doubt in anyone's mind seems to be whether they will actually make it to the new year. Perhaps that's why Katie has gone away - to give them a hope of making it to Jan 1st...

Katie's Rivals in Love - the Sugababes?!

Well, rumours continue that Katie Price and Alex Reid's marriage may soon be over. He's apparently still living with his parents as they try a trial situation, in the hope that absence will make the heart go fonder (or at least give Alex a break from Katie's nagging). Anyway, Alex seems to be taking full advantage of his freedom, as he helped run up a £30K bill at Mahiki the other night, and was then seen out and about looking cosy with Amelle Berrabah - the rough one from the Sugababes.
What is it with Katie's exes and members of that band? Just this week rumours have started up about Peter Andre and former Sugababe, Kesha Buchanan. Whatever next? Will Heidi be hooking up with Dane Bowers? Will Mutya get it on with Dwight Yorke? Hmm, well time will tell...

Blondes have more fun?

Katie Price is currently enjoying a break Stateside with her hairdresser/make up artist friend, Gary Cockrill. Seeing the California sunshine has obviously had an effect on her style, as Katie has decided to go blonde again. This has sent the rumour mongers going as Katie once claimed that she is always blonde when pregnant. So has Katie finally got her wish to be Reidonated? Well, she's denying it for now...
