Bad news for Britney?

The press are reporting that Britney Spears is to be investigated following claims by her former bodyguard that she sexually harassed him and committed acts of child abuse on her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Fernando Flores apparently left his job after finding Britney's behaviour most uncomfortable - she allegedly called him into her boudoir frequently and wandered around naked in front of him (hmmm, Celebritree remembers a time when a lot of men would have paid good money to see Brits naked in her bedroom). A source has told The Sun that Britney doesn't mean to be a bad mum but he has concerns about her kids after she allegedly beat one of them with the bodyguard's belt and fed them both food to which they both have allergies.

Celebritree hopes that the stories are just rumours and that Brits is back to her best soon!

Another hen do for Katie

Katie was last night celebrating her second hen do (for this particular wedding) with a Barbie-themed party at a hotel in Mayfair. She even had a cake shaped like a Barbie and wore a typically tasteful outfit.

Her GBFs, Phil and Gary, seemed to play a key part in the organising as Phil rocked up complete with 4 real life Kens/topless models, baring some goodies in Sainsbury's carriers (no expense spared then...)

Katie has got all the press talking as it seems that even with all that Sainsbury's Cava (or whatever) available, Katie resisted temptation and didn't touch a drop, choosing to drive herself home. Apparently she needs to keep a clear head for all the organising that she needs to do for her wedding blessing on Saturday (don't forget readers, this wedding is all about them, it's far more personal than her last one so they're NOT getting a wedding planner involved!) Or perhaps she would like us all to wonder whether she's pregnant??

Jude and Sienna heading home

Jude and Sienna were out last night at the Roundhouse in Camden, to see band, The Dead Weather. (Who? These alt rockers are below Celebritree's radar...) They both looked slightly the worse for wear as they made their way home, bleary-eyed. Clearly they had had a few drinks, as they headed to a greasy kebab shop for a bite on the way home. Oh, the celebrity lifestyle... Hardly Nobu, is it?

Do you really have time for this right now, Katie?

With just a few days to go now before her big-deal wedding replay/blessing fiasco, Katie has apparently decided to contact lawyers as she considers suing her ex-husband for claiming that she had prevented him from seeing her son, Harvey, for months. Katie and Alex are still smarting from the accusation Pete is supposed to have made to police after he found Princess with bruises (which apparently turned out to be smudged mascara), so Katie is keen to put an end to this back-biting once and for all.
As for the wedding, it seems Alex's CBB pal, Basshunter, is washing his hair (or something) so can't make the wedding, but don't panic, as JLS have volunteered to play instead. Maybe guests are paying them to avoid Katie having to put on the musical entertainment herself?

Pulling her hair out?

Naomi Campbell seems to be suffering from hair loss, if recent photos of her on a shoot are anything to go by. Either that, or she's just been in some kind of cat fight and someone nearby is wandering around with a handful of La Campbell's hair...

End of SATC?

Rumour has it that after the lukewarm response by critics and a relative lack of success at the US box office, the Sex and the City girls have hung up their Manolos and Louboutins for good. It seems they have decided not to make a third film.
Of course, fans will miss Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, but perhaps it is best to leave on a high. If only they had....

Becks tries to enjoy his hols

So, the England football team arrived very quietly at a special bit of Heathrow at 6am this morning. No fanfares or open-top buses for these World Cup flops. Instead, they hurried back to their various extravagant homes to be consoled by their WAGs. Except Becks, who hurried off to Nice to join his family in the south of France for their summer hols. Becks was dressed entirely in black - no doubt to match his mood.
Still, Andy Murray's win had apparently cheered Beckham somewhat, as he sent a text congratulating him on his win - taking him through to the quarter finals at Wimbledon.
If Becks doesn't have enough to worry about, it seems The Sun could soon be adding to his stresses - as they think that the FA should appoint Becks as England's new manager. After all, he's as famous as Maradona, and as passionate about his country and his football. So clearly, despite the lack of experience, qualifications etc, that makes him the perfect choice....

Another Celeb Couple Elopes

The second Beverly Hills 90210 wedding this year took place last week when Brian Austin Green married Megan Fox, with just 6 witnesses, including his 8 year old son, on holiday in Hawaii. The pair met in 2004 when Megan was just 18 and have been together on and off ever since. Their previous engagement fizzled out after two years, but after reconciling, they decided not to wait as long this time around - they got engaged on June 1st and wed on the 24th.
No photos of the wedding but the honeymooning couple were quite content to be engaged looking all romantic on the beach.

The WAGs are coming home

England's World Cup WAGs were spotted heading off from Johannesburg airport back to Blighty after their husbands'/boyfriends' humiliating defeat at the feet of ze Germans. All seemed to be dressed in the WAG travelling uniform of heels and skinny jeans - comfort-dressing WAG stylee... Christine Bleakley looked pretty happy to be heading home to her lucrative ITV contract, whilst Toni Terry didn't look like she was relishing another long-haul flight with her young twins.
Carly Cole looked to have been packing more in hope than anything else as she lugged her sizable luggage about. Celebritree reckons she couldn't have had time to wear even half her outfits in the short stay she had in South Africa. No sign of their other halves though. Maybe they've decided to keep a low profile somewhere until the media furor dies down?
No sign of Coleen though - who kept a low profile during this tournament - much like her husband...

Strawberry picking with Katie and Suri

Katie Holmes is currently filming some documentary in Canada. She and Suri ventured out strawberry picking at the weekend. So far, so normal. And indeed, Katie is more than suitably attired in her boots, jeans and casual check shirt. But who takes their kid strawberry picking in a nightie, barefoot?
Come on Katie! Sort it out (and for goodness sake, buy Suri some sensible shoes - surely Shiloh has some she could lend her...)

Chezza to stay Cole?

It would appear that Simon Cowell was jumping the gun rather by referring to Cheryl as Tweedy last week. For it seems that Chezza has decided to stick with Cole - for now. Maybe she wants to limit her name changes, for, rumour has it, she has already asked Derek Hough to move in with her (he has apparently applied for a visa to stay over in the UK) - so who knows what her name could be next month?
Today Cheryl was in Dublin at the latest round of X Factor auditions, with Katy Perry as the guest judge. Is it just Celebritree, or is there something just not quite right about Katy Perry? She seems to be a one woman publicity machine at the moment, putting even Katie Price and Chezza to shame.
In other Chezza news, she has received the ultimate schoolboy accolade - she has become a character in the Beano comic....

Angelina - no more kids?

Angelina Jolie has given a shocking interview to Vanity Fair where she admits that she might have enough kids to keep her occupied. It seems she has realised that kids take a lot of looking after, especially as they get older, and, of course, it's important to have quality time with them all. Each of the Brangelina brood has their own personality, with Maddox the intellectual, Shiloh the wannabe boy (who apparently has "Montenegro style" - whatever the hell that means) and Zahara being all elegant and well-mannered. The twins are doing fine too with Knox being a "real dude" and Viv "really feminine". Seems poor Pax has been forgotten, though guess that's easily done when you have 6 kids. Still Angelina's enjoying the challenge being a mother brings and thinks she'll soon give up the acting career to concentrate on being fulfilled by her kids.

Another Celebrity Wedding

Congratulations go to Mena Suvari and her new husband, producer, Simone Sestito. They married yesterday in Vatican City - his family are from Rome so they didn't have to travel far.
Mena, 31, is on her second marriage. Having tried being married to an older man (German cinematographer, Robert Brinkmann, 48), Mena has decided to try a younger chap this time around - Simone is 25.
Celebritree wishes the couple well. Roll on the next celeb wedding (and can we get pics of the next one too, please?)

Nothing to say

Katie and Alex finally seem to have run out of stories to tell the press about their wedding. So now, they've done what they probably always do, which is resort to making up complete nonsense. So Katie's revealed that after midnight, Alex might come out at their blessing dressed as his female alter-ego, Roxanne. And that Roxanne's having a hen night too. Yeah right. Celebritree thought Alex was trying to leave that side of himself behind?
Alex has told the press that he really sees himself as the Jamie Oliver of gyms. He wants to get everyone (especially kids) thinking about fitness in the same way that Lord Jamie has everyone thinking about healthy eating.
Celebritree thinks that Alex should instead concentrate on the lasting damage that marriage can cause. It would seem that Pete is having issues removing the 'Katie' tattoo on his wedding finger - it contains some lead-based dye that does not seem to be easily removable. Ooops.

Croft threatens Kezza

Well Kerry's documentary went down well with all concerned it seems. Her ex, Mark Croft, seems to feel that he came across badly and that the show has left his reputation in ruins (sorry, Mark, were you seriously under the impression that your reputation could be any damaged any further?)
Anyway, as if things couldn't get worse for Kerry, Mark is now threatening to sell some seedy sex tapes to the highest bidder. He's staying realistic though, and saying that should nobody want to buy, he'll post on the internet himself. Hmm, would anyone (even a tabloid journo) want to pay for a pic of Kerry getting down and dirty with the leech?!

Yellow - how it should be done

So, Posh is showing Den and Katie how it SHOULD be done, as she heads off on hols in the south of France with her 3 sons. They are being joined rather sooner than they had probably hoped by Dad, David, after Engerland's humiliating defeat at the hands of ze Germans today.
Anyway, let's not rest on that. Rather let's wonder what on earth possessed Posh to add these WAG hair extensions to her jaunty pob. Clearly VB has her own strategy for watching England games - wear excruciatingly painful shoes and that will take your mind off the embarassing performance of 'our lads'...

Not so mellow yellow

All the sunshine we have been enjoying in Blighty seems to have been going to some celebs' heads. What other explanation can there be for these fashion abominations in sunny yellow? Now, Celebritree knows that yellow is a spiritual colour (VB informed us of this when revealing her first collection), but both Denise and Katie look like they need more than spiritual help in these outfits. As Katie's wedding blessing day draws nearer, rumours are afoot that she had fled to Paris to deal with her stress whilst Alex was left worrying that she would call the whole thing off. So perhaps she was wearing this outfit to ensure she stood out and prove that she hadn't fled anywhere. Au contraire, Katie had been signing a £5 million deal with Virgin to move her reality TV show from ITV2 to Living TV. Richard Branson must be so proud.

Mel Gibson in court battle

Hmm, don't you just love it when celebs tell how amicable their break-ups are? They're so superior to the rest of us that they can meet, mate and break up and it's all just a bed of roses. Although it seems that Mel and Oksana's break up might not be as amicable as they have led us to believe after Oksana has taken out a restraining order on Mel preventing him from seeing her or her daughter. I guess that puts an end to all the 'co-parenting' talk...
However, it seems that that's not an end to it as Mel battles the order to ensure that he can continue to see his daughter, and slapped Oksana with a counter restraining order to prevent her talking to the media about their relationship and subsequent break up...

White Tie and Tiara Ball

So, Elton John (and his partner, David Furnish) welcomed a motley crew of celebs to their annual charity fund-raising White Tie and Tiara bash. There was the usual auction, including a Damien Hirst customised car. Liz Hurley was there (as always). Other guests included Peter Andre, Kerry Katona (out and about rather than watch her car-crash marriage break up documentary on Channel 4) and their manager, Claire Powell (not looking at all like an elephant - as Junior Andre revealed his mother referred to Claire in front of his father and Claire at dinner in Dubai on the Peter Andre documentary). Unfortunately, their car ran a photographer over, apparently breaking his ankle, as they made their way through the paps.
Rumour has it that after arriving together, Kezza and Pete went their separate ways at the party and, somewhat bizarrely, Pete was apparently inseparable from Liz Hurley (clearly Liz must be very patient)! The pair have barely been able to contain their texting and tweeting since allegedly...

What are the WAGs up to now?

As Engerland's players prepare for tomorrow and the most important match of their lives (since the last most important match of their lives on Wednesday), what are their nearest and dearest up to?
Well, it seems that Christine Bleakley (who after much dilly-dallying - including a night out to celebrate staying with the BBC, has finally signed her life away to ITV) and Toni Terry have followed Carly Cole out to South Africa. There were rumours that Toni wasn't planning to go out unless England reached the quarter-finals, but perhaps she has decided to cut her losses - or
else lose out on a big holiday, based on England's performances so far.
However, Coleen has decided to stay put, rather than having to uproot baby Kai. She was seen out at Chester races this week, looking very glam in purple. Meanwhile, Alex Curran was out at Elton and his partner David Furnish's White Tie and Tiara party, on Thursday night, wearing a dress previously seen on Cheryl Cole - albeit in a different colour. Clearly, it was a really classy event this year!

Piers weds

Yesterday Piers Morgan wed his beautiful bride, Celia Waldren, in a sunshine drenched wedding at the small parish church of St Mary, Swinbrook, Oxon. True to their word, they followed the small ceremony with family and close friends with a low-key reception at the nearby local pub. Celia was looking beautiful and aptly wearing a daisy chain in her hair and carrying wild flowers for the country wedding. Piers looked (as usual) pretty smug - and, for once, who can blame him?
Interesting fact for some Celebritree readers: the couple married at the church where famous authoress, Nancy Mitford and three of her sisters (including the infamous Diana Mosley and Unity Mitford) are buried.

Britney looking for trouble?

Poor Britney Spears. She just doesn't seem to want to let herself be happy. 'Friends' have started rumours that Britney is back in touch with her dodgy ex-boyfriend, paparazzo, Adnan Ghalib. It seems Britney has been sneaking calls to Adnan behind the back of her apparently lovely current beau (and former manager), Jason Trawick.

Celebritree is not sure how she plans to pursue this relationship as Adnan has a restraining order against him after he sold intimate stories of their romance to the media. Perhaps Britney's dad needs to step up his supervision again...

Queen WAG reappears

Hmm, Celebritree has been most concerned as it's all been quiet on the Victoria Beckham front recently. The Queen of the WAGs has been out of the papers, with the young upstarts dominating instead. She made a stylish return to form at the Diane Von Furstenberg party at Claridge's this week, wearing a Giles Deacon dress that she recently wore in the LG ad (have you fallen on hard times VB?) and a pair of stiletto thigh-high boots (which must have been sweltering in London's current heatwave).

Although VB stole the show, her outfit proved to not be very practical as she tried to keep her dignity climbing into the back of her car. Seems she'd also managed a trip to Boot's the Chemist - perhaps stocking up on some no. 7 make up whilst back in the UK?!

Other stars at the party included Madge, who seemed to have lost her feet under her trousers and Joan Collins, who seemed to be showing her age...

Cheryl Tweedy?

Has Cheryl changed back to her maiden name of Tweedy? Apparently at this week's X Factor auditions in London, Simon introduced Cheryl by her former name.
Rumours have been circulating that Cheryl is planning to reissue her solo album as Cheryl Tweedy, is in the early stages of getting the 'Mrs C' tatoo removed from the nape of her neck and has asked close friends to start calling her Cheryl Tweedy, although her name is still legally Cheryl Cole.
It may be an opportune moment for her to change her name as she bids for world domination. Outside the UK, she's a relative unknown (Girls Aloud have tended to focus their attentions on the UK and Ireland only), with her album barely scraping into the top 50 in European markets, despite her gruelling promotional tour. She's also a relative unknown in the US - although she seems to be putting that right with the romantic rumours surrounding her 'friendships' with Will.i.am and Derek Hough.

Not so belle de jour

Billie Piper and hubby, Laurence Fox, obviously managed to get a babysitter for Winston in last night, and the two made the most of it with a night at the Groucho Club. They both looked slightly worse for wear as they hailed a taxi to head home - Celebritree wonders who was on early waking duty for Winston this morning... Billie is currently busy filming the fourth and final series of Belle de Jour and recently finally allowed her husband to watch - braving the embarassment of her husband seeing her 'sploshing' with other men.

Caught in the middle with Jude

Poor Jude Law has apparently been trying to get his ex-wife/mother of his 3 children, Sadie Frost, to sit down and have a crisis meeting with his soon to be new wife, Sienna Miller. Apparently Sienna and Jude spent the weekend making plans for their summer wedding with his parents at their home in he Loire valley (seems like EVERY celeb seems to be wedding planning at the moment). They are keen to involve Jude and Sadie's children, with Rafferty set to be best man, Rudy to be a page boy and Iris to be a bridesmaid. However, Sadie doesn't seem thrilled about the prospect and relations between the two women have reached a new all time low, after Sienna allegedly got Rudy's lovely curls cut at the weekend. Furious Sadie apparently tweeted, the highly articlate,‘I think ya should get ya own child and then cut their hair!’ Of course, regular Celebritree readers will know that getting a child's hair cut when they are in your care is a high risk strategy indeed - Katie Price went ballistic when Peter got Princess's hair trimmed...

Now it seems Sadie has told Jude not to bring Sienna/evil stepmother along to Iris's ballet recital (which Kate Moss's daughter, Lila Rose is also participating in). Uh oh, Sienna - don't risk the wrath of the Primrose Hill Posse again...

Now we know why Tori wasn't at the recent 90210 wedding

Tori Spelling has been doing the circuit promoting her autobiographical book and spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show about how she has worried that husband, Dean, would cheat on her. She also revealed to Ryan that she is no longer in touch with her former 90210 co-stars - saying that they all hate her now (apart from Jennie Garth, with whom she maintains contact). She says that they all came to her first wedding but when she got together with Dean, they seemed to fall by the wayside. Perhaps they were wary of another wedding gift list - Tori and Dean have just renewed their vows for their fourth wedding anniversary!

Suri's tatoos

No, don't fear readers, Suri hasn't really been frequenting a tatoo parlour. Rather she has been going a little wild with a marker pen on her legs. Yet again, she's kicked off her shoes but this time has gone for some alternative foot decoration.
Meanwhile, daddy, Tom, has been telling the world how difficult it is to look after Suri. Apparently, when he's trying to persuade her to eat something good for her, such as protein - before she indulges in a sugary snack, she comes right back at him, with, "Dad I really don’t think you should try to force me to do something I don’t want to do."

Hmm, something tells Celebritree that life as Suri's dad is going to get a whole lot harder before it gets better...

Kerry Katona's manager fights to ban the Kezza show

It seems that Kezza's new wholesome image could be under threat unless her manager, Claire Powell, can stop the show due to broadcast on Channel 4 tomorrow night, Kerry and Me. Seems before Kerry broke up with the leech (aka Mark Croft), she agreed to let the cameras follow her around. It seems Kerry may still have been 'under the influence' of something - as she is apparenlty seen screaming at her kids, including telling eldest daughter, Molly, "Shut your face, or I'll knock you out". Charming, Kerry, really charming.

More trouble and strife chez Brangelina?

That ever-reliable source, the National Enquirer, seems to have started yet another rumour of discontent chez Brangelina. It seems that put-upon Brad has started seeing more of his ex, Jennifer Aniston. According to Brad, it's all perfectly innocent and above board and purely business. Angelina doesn't seem overly worried and says that it's up to Brad what he does in his own time, but has apparently warned him not to involve their kids - she doesn't want Jennifer to have anything to do with her children, believing they will find it confusing with their father spending so much time with another woman - who also happens to be his ex-wife. If all the rumours are true, then surely that must be the thing that the kids are LEAST confused about...

WAG update

Abbey Clancy, girlfriend of Peter Crouch, is busy with her career whilst her boyf's busy trying to score in South Africa. Apparently Abbey is keen to spread her... wings and would love to do some modelling Stateside. Hmm, not really sure that her stint on that ITV show with James Corden is going to cut the mustard to hit the big time...

She has also revealed how the England hotel has been invaded by baboons (hmm, Celebritree can just imagine the jokes about recruiting them) and that Peter Crouch's poor parents were victims when 3 baboons invaded their room taking anything they fancied with them.

Another WAG, Stevie G's missus, Alex Curran, has revealed that she is often mistaken for Ms Clancy. This cannot be good news for poor Abbey and her burgeoning career....

Peter Andre blethers on again

Peter Andre has evidently been desperately looking for material to fill his weekly column. The good news is that he celebrated Father's Day with Harvey, as well as Princess and Junior - seems he has finally been able to satisfy Katie's demands for a qualified nanny to help him care for Harvey. He has thrown down the gauntlet to Alex Reid again saying that his kids don't need another dad.

So what's the bad news? Well, it seems that Pete is too busy with his tour to fit Strictly Come Dancing into his schedule. Boxer Lennox Lewis and rugby star, Will Carling, have also turned the show down, apparently.

Pete has also told sources that he is supporting Australia, Greece AND England in the World Cup. Could Pete's support be the kiss of death for a football team?

Amid rumours that Katie has banned Alex from having a stag do, Pete has spoken out and said that he was not allowed to even be seen with a woman before their wedding - or Katie would have called off the whole shebang! (And risked never getting to appear in that pink diamond encrusted carriage - surely not?!)

Poor old Alex is finding life tough getting recognised and is thinking of getting a toupe as a disguise. He has also revealed that he likes to coordinate his outfits with those of his Missus. The mind boggles.

Aaah! Ain't love grand?! Having got together in 2007, Orlando Bloom and Victoria's Secret model, Miranda Kerr have announced that they are engaged. A wedding for the beautiful people, this one...

No, Katie's not the only one having a wedding this summer

Indeed, Britain and America's Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan, is also planning a second trip up the aisle this summer. Celebritree is sure that Piers would be the first to admit that he has seriously punched above his weight in convincing journalist, Celia Waldren, to marry him. Still, the man who tried to ban celeb tittle-tattle from the Mirror and make it a serious paper has decided that his wedding will be a celeb-free affair - no invites then for fellow judges, Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff, Amanda Holden or even Simon Cowell... Oh well, I'm sure Katie will be pleased to entertain any disappointed celebs who might want to give their wedding hats an outing...

Bridezilla's stressing out

Yes, the latest update from the Price-Reid nuptials: it seems that Katie has been putting the fear of God into her wedding planners. She's determined that this wedding should be 'classy' (err, does that mean you won't be attending Katie?) and so wants a buffet instead of a sit-down dinner (yep, a few prawn vol au vents and a bit of quiche lorraine certainly will add some class) and a ball instead of a disco. So I guess her wedding planners will just have to cancel the bulk order of glitter balls and DJ and start hunting down a willing and able string quartet. Ho hum, all par for the course as a KP employee, Celebritree imagines...
Meanwhile, rumour has it that Katie's GBFs, Phil Taylor and Gary Cockerill, have been approached to appear in next year's I'm a Celebrity! But how will Katie manage without Gary to do her hair and make up..?

Kelly - it's over

Seems that Kelly has confirmed that her relationship with Danny Cipriani is indeed over. She was spotted out on the town with a mystery gentleman last night. Strange choice of restaurant by the new couple though - they chose to dine at Italian restaurant, Cipriani.
Seems that Kelly has decided to go back to the older man after her dalliance with young Danny....

And Another One Bites the Dust

Oh, celebrities! They're always falling in love, heading into relationships at lightening speed and then breaking up just as quickly.
And would you believe, that match seemingly made in heaven, between ex-BB star/Posh Spice wannabe/WAG, Chanelle, and ex-con/widower of Jade Goody, Jack Tweed is over! Honestly, Celebritree had such high hopes for a beautiful future for this pair.
Anyway, seems Chanelle (who is just a month away from giving birth to another man's child) has given Jack the elbow after he has refused to give up his partying ways and was spotted emerging from a London night club with a mystery blonde. Let's hope Chanelle finds love again soon...

Char in Cardiff; Gav in Glasgow

After their separation, today's papers show how the former 'Welsh Posh 'n' Becks' are bearing up following the end of their relationship. Charlotte was out and about in Cardiff showing the strain of being a single mum, whilst ex-fiance, Gavin, made an appearance at Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow with Michelle Mone and her hubby - presumably in a bid to quash rumours of a romance between Gav and the undies entrepreneur. Gav was looking well after another holiday in Alicante. Isn't it time Char got a break, Gav?
