out to be another in the long line of disappointments that is Ms Houston's comeback tour. Even Whitney had the decency to be embarassed claiming that her soprano voice is getting "temperamental" and "doesn't want to come out tonight", blaming the air con for taking her voice from her. Thankfully her backing singers had managed to keep tabs on their own singing voices so kept the songs going whilst Whitney chipped in where she could, in between gasping for breath. A number of fans left during the gig - either fed up with Whitney cutting short some of her biggest hits, or perhaps they were feeling the heat, as Whitney herself was judging by the perspiration dripping from her in all the photos...
She has 2 more gigs left at the O2, so let's hope they sort the air-con out to Ms Houston's liking...
Is Whitney doing impressions of Clio Laine these days? Blimey - don;t get on the stage if you can't hold a note love - I could do the 02 at this rate. Mind, at least they didn't have to listen to her incessant warbling. Fine by me.
