Alex Reid has revealed in an exclusive interview with Heat magazine (presumably a rare occasion that wasn't closely monitored by his control freak wife/manager) that he had never wanted to get married and that the wedding in Vegas had come as a complete surprise to him and his family (which rather makes Celebritree wonder what Katie was on about when she said that he'd proposed just 2 months into their relationship - perhaps he was just proposing a holiday or something?) However, Alex muses "when it's feels right, just do it. It felt right". He hits out at claims that Katie is going nuts: "Of course she is not – she is completely together and happy with herself – and we are really happily married." Yes, clearly she's very together (screeching at pensioners in Comet car parks) and happy with herself (having botox every time she finds she can move a muscle in her face)...
Alex also revealed more about the offers he's had since winnning CBB, including a part in BBC drama, 2000BC: "I’m quite excited to play a Homo sapien. It’s like a different take – that cavemen weren’t actually stupid, they were quite intellectual." In that statement, Alex throws away any doubts that anyone might have had about him being an intellectual himself - err, Alex, homo sapiens are humans and Celebritree seems to remember you playing one of those in Hollyoaks...
