It seems that Fergie was approached by the BBC to bolster their line-up for the 2010 series of Strictly Come Dancing. (Clearly we are talking about the Duchess of York here and not Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame, who is far too busy battling bandmate Will.i.am as they allegedly both try to get it on with the nation's sweetheart® whilst on tour with her.)No, rather it emerges that the DofY turned down a generous 5 figure fee to appear on the show, as she didn't seem keen to put in the gruelling training involved. (Can't say I blame her, she'd be sure to get palmed off with Anton Du Bek.) However, Celebritree is wondering how poor, broke Fergie could bring herself to turn down those spondoolies - although clearly introducing folks to her ex husband pays better...
Fergie is apparently going to put everything right with the American public (at least) by appearing on Oprah.
Ah poor old Fergs - I would have loved her on Strictly, that would have been one gig not to turn down I reckon.. and lets face it she would have been crap so out by week 3 - not a bad days work for a massive payout!
