Condolences to Amanda Holden

It's been a sad weekend for Amanda Holden and her family, as she went into hospital in Middlesex after not feeling her baby move for a day or so. It was revealed in the press today that the baby boy was stillborn, seven months into her pregnancy. Amanda had kept her pregnancy quiet until last month, when she revealed that she had been hiding a bump for some time, with strategically placed handbags and winter knits. Of course, all the usual celeb suspects have been tweeting their condolences to Amanda and her husband. Poor Amanda had a busy few months scheduled as she is in the middle of Britain's Got Talent auditions and was scheduled to start in Shrek- the musical on London's West End in May.

No, Katie's not the only one having a wedding this summer

Indeed, Britain and America's Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan, is also planning a second trip up the aisle this summer. Celebritree is sure that Piers would be the first to admit that he has seriously punched above his weight in convincing journalist, Celia Waldren, to marry him. Still, the man who tried to ban celeb tittle-tattle from the Mirror and make it a serious paper has decided that his wedding will be a celeb-free affair - no invites then for fellow judges, Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff, Amanda Holden or even Simon Cowell... Oh well, I'm sure Katie will be pleased to entertain any disappointed celebs who might want to give their wedding hats an outing...

SATC London Premiere

So, the ladies of SATC enjoyed a warm welcome to London last night as their new movie premiered in Leicester Square. SJP chose to repeat the designers she chose for the last premiere in London with a dress by Alexander McQueen and huge hat by Philip Treacey. (Celebritree imagines that the people behind her in the cinema must have been thrilled by her hat!) Celebritree is really not sure that black is SJP's colour and the hat proved to be rather difficult as she struggled to get into a car (although Celebritree has had similar problems in the past so fully sympathises). Kim looked the height of glam, Cynthia's hair had something strange going on, although she wore a great colour on her but Kristin was the fashion winner of the night in Celebritree's opinion.

One person who definitely WASN'T a winner was Amanda Holden. What were you thinking Amanda? You look like an aging fairy from a Christmas tree. If you were trying to pay tribute to Carrie's tutu, Amanda, it went badly wrong...

Cheryl Cole - back in Europe

Cheryl Cole is back in Europe - she left LAX yesterday after her Easter break in a jaunty nautical sweater and capri pants and flaunting a new haircut, arriving today in Paris wearing a pair of Christian Louboutins. Cheryl obviously managed a bit of shut-eye on her overnight flight, as she was glowing today. Watch out for those lovely heels on that cobbled street though Cheryl!

If Cheryl is having any doubts about her marriage break-up though, she will be relieved to know that a fellow member of the Cowell harem, Amanda Holden, has weighed into the Cole marriage debate to say that she thinks Cheryl is doing the right thing to leave her footballer hubby. Phew! When you know that you have Sinitta, Sharon Osbourne and Amanda Holden on side, you must be doing the right thing...
