All change at American Idol?

We all know that Simon Cowell has left his role as judge on the biggest show on US TV - American Idol - after a huge send-off at the end of the last series. Now, Ellen DeGeneres has also resigned after one season, claiming that she was too busy and didn't feel she was a good fit. Now, in a dramatic move, US Magazine is claiming that Cara DioGuardi has been fired from the show.
I know some Celebritree readers loved Cara, so let's hope it doesn't affect their viewing too much!
The rumoured replacements are Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler - so the show is going back to having 3 judges. Makes sense, as far as Celebritree can see...

Another wedding vow renewal ceremony

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony yesterday renewed their wedding vows on their 6th wedding anniversary, as they combined the special occasion with a house-warming party. It's certainly becoming a Hollywood trend to regularly renew your wedding vows - although J-Lo has shown unusual restraint - this is only the second time they have renewed theirs - with their previous renewal in 2008. Clearly this is something worth celebrating though, as Celebritree is sure that J-Lo didn't get chance to renew her vows so frequently with her previous two husbands.
The guest list was certainly A list with invitees including TomKat, Brangelina and the Beckhams. Celebritree wonders what the gift-giving etiquette is for such occasions? Do these vow renewal services warrant a gift list, in case the couple needs a new ironing board or set of coasters?

J-Lo shows her style at The Back-Up Plan premiere

Jennifer Lopez was in Leicester Square last night for the London premiere of her latest flick, The Back-Up Plan. She was surrounded by the highest calibre of celebs that the UK could muster together for such an event: Kerry Katona (of course), a couple of twins from Big Brother, Bianca Gascoigne, Jenni Falconer (who couldn't even be arsed to dress up - wearing jeans to a premiere!) and Tamara Ecclestone. Even Katie, Alex and Pete didn't grace Jennifer with their presence!

Oh well, Celebritree guesses that at least that meant all eyes were on J-Lo - just the way she likes it. But what was going on with her footwear? Surely J-Lo could have arranged to have a pair of shoes that actually fit her...?

J.Lo's past catching up with her?

After taking time out to look after her twins, Jennifer Lopez is well and truly back on the celebrity circuit. She has been touring to promote her new romcom The Back Up Plan turning up at premieres in a variety of stunning frocks.
Last night she attended the Us Weekly awards bash with hubby, Marc Antony (maybe their buddy Becks was babysitting for them too last night?) Jenny from the Block was all smiles as she celebrated her award as 'Style Icon of the Decade'.

However, Celebritree has heard that not all is rosy in Jen's world. Her first husband, Ojani Noa, is facing bankruptcy and so has threatened to sell a manuscript that tells all about his relationship with the star (their marriage lasted less than a year, so it's probably more of a pamphlet than a book) and some 'previously unseen' video footage of the couple. Ojani is certainly letting the world believe that the 'hundreds of videos' he possesses (did this couple live their whole married life on camera?) are sex tapes. Jennifer's people deny this. Jennifer has previously managed to prevent these materials coming to fruition, citing a confidentiality agreement the two signed. However, with Ojani in dire need of cash, Jennifer is facing the fact that these personal things might come out into the public eye after all...

Oscar dresses: the crazy

It looks like Jennifer Lopez has been economising. She hasn't had a hit for a while, and she's got those twins at home to keep in nappies. But surely, for the biggest night in the fashion year, she should have done better than wrapping herself in bubble wrap - albeit a huge roll must have been required for this get up!
