Whilst Katie and Alex excitedly plan their second lot of nuptials, let's spare a thought for the celebrities at the other end of the celeb-marriage rollercoaster.
Yes, it seems that it truly is the end of the road for Cheryl and Cashley. They had their much anticipated big meeting at the weekend (now that Cheryl's coldsore has had time to heal, she was ready to face her ex again). Cashley apparently went home confident that he would persuade her that they could resolve their differences. Clearly he hadn't reckoned with 'the pocket rocket' (aka Cheryl's mum) who was apparently asked by her daughter to eject him after 30 minutes.
Not one to do things by halves, news now comes that Cheryl is consulting Fiona Shackleton - celebrity divorce lawyer - who has previously acted on behalf of Macca vs Mucca and Charles vs Diana. Surely this one should be a relatively easy case: can't see Ashley hurling a pitcher of water over her, Mucca style.
That backfired on Mucca though didn't it - as everyone thought Fiona S looked much better with her 90's Diana do instead of the circa '84 pouffy job (or actually was it a Camilla do?!)
