These boots are made for...?!

Katie Price has been haunting the nation's bookshops as she promotes the latest of her autobiographies. It was obviously chilly in Manchester as she sported some very furry boots. Apparently despite her loving message to her ex husband in her latest book, she is not really feeling the love - she apparently threw a shoe at her TV during his performance on Strictly the other week (let's hope it wasn't one of these boots or she could have done some serious damage!)
More bad news for Katie: the incident last month when she hit a person whilst on her mobile en route to see Michelle Heaton in a play may result in a 2 year custodial sentence! At the least, Katie can probably expect to lose her licence - she already has 7 points. Surely something must be done: it's just a matter of time before she sends her 4x4 crashing into a Snappy Snaps...

Keep Death off the Roads

Hmm, Celebritree was starting to feel that the roads of the south-east were a little safer with George Michael banned from driving. However, it seems that there's a new threat to our safety: despite recently acquiring 6 points on her licence, Katie Price doesn't seem to have learned her lesson - she arrived at the theatre to watch bessie mate, Michelle Heaton, appear in a new play (who knew she could act? Clearly there is no end to her talents: singing, acting, dancing, drinking, applying fake tan and managing to show the patience of a saint by being about the only person to maintain a close friendship with Katie for any length of time), driving whilst chatting away on her mobile. Despite Alex's rather feeble attempts to stop anyone getting a pic, Katie continued, ending up hitting a photographer and driving onto a footpath, before abandoning her vehicle for a friend to park. Can Alex not drive?
Apparently Katie has also told Alex to abandon his plans to write his autobiography, saying she doesn't want him to write about her, and that she's the only interesting thing in his life - rendering the whole idea pointless. She really is all heart....

Katie and Alex 'enjoy' partying in Dublin

Katie is always waxing on about what a good mate Michelle Heaton is. Well, you'd think she might have plastered on a smile for her best pal's wedding celebrations. We know you've had to endure a couple of nights in a Travel Inn, a mini-bus ride to the slightly dodgy looking venue and a low-fi celeb guest list (Kelli Young and Mikey Graham presumably don't cut the mustard when you're used to the circles that Katie normally mixes in - even her kids are more famous than them!), still, you could have tried grinning and bearing it! After all, just remember the rigmarole Michelle had to go through at your wedding blessing - and the dodgy frock you put her in... There, surely that should make the glum Price-Reids laugh?

In Dublin's fair city

After keeping an unusually low profile in recent times, Katie Price and husband, Alex Reid arrived at Dublin airport yesterday all set to check into the exclusive £32/night airport Travel Inn. They were accompanied by Katie's gbfs, Phil and Gary, who appear to have been tangoed - they even make the Price-Reids look washed out in comparison!
The group were arriving to celebrate with good friend, Michelle Heaton, who is celebrating her July wedding with all those friends who couldn't attend the main event in the Caribbean. Katie informed the world of her bessie mate's private party via Twitter (of course - God forbid anyone famous should do anything without tweeting before, during and after)! Don't they look like they are going to have a fun time?!

Who? What? Where?

Who is this arriving in a big Merc, surrounded by fans and security? Is it, perhaps, David Cameron? The Queen? Barack Obama? Err, no, it's Katie Price, arriving in Weston-Super-Mare for a book signing at Waterstone's. Fans queued for hours to get her to sign her ghost-writer's latest novel.
Elsewhere in the Reid-Price media, Alex is apparently being courted by Channel 4 to appear in the line-up for Ultimate Big Brother. Four contestants are due to be booted out from the interminable current series this week and will be replaced by a selection of people from previous series (both celeb and 'ordinary' versions). The usual fame-hungry faces are up for this stint, but BB bosses are so keen to get Alex to get the publicity he will no doubt drum up (or his wife/manager will, anyway), they are prepared to pay £75K to get him to sign on the dotted line.
In case Alex doesn't sign up, the next opportunity to see the Reid-Prices in action comes on August 21st on ITV2, where they will be joining Yvette Fielding to go ghost-hunting. Hmm, something tells Celebritree, this could be comedy. No doubt they will be joined by Katie's make-up artist/hair dresser and maybe Michelle Heaton will get in on the act too...

Michelle Heaton shows her love

Photos of last month's wedding were exclusive to OK magazine, but it seems all and sundry have photos of Michelle getting a tattoo declaring her love for hubby number 2, Hugh. The tattoo sweeps from her midriff over her hip, declaring 'From this moment 19.07.10'' (the date of their wedding) and was inked in California earlier this month.
Michelle was married previously to Andy Scott-Lee until she cheated on him whilst on holiday. Hopefully this permanent reminder will help keep her on the straight and narrow this time round!

Katie cancels G-A-Y appearance

Katie Price has decided to cancel her appearance singing at G-A-Y, "due to recent events" (presumably nobody liking her record, except, of course, her kids, and maybe husband). Still, Katie loves to keep busy as she's been telling folks how much she loves throwing dinner parties. Apparently she doesn't dress up, just invites a few non-famous friends (is she seriously implying that Michelle Heaton is not famous? Or does her bridesmaid just not get invited to dinner parties?) and they all eat loads then fall asleep in the cinema room, or over a game of Balderdash. Sounds a hoot, oh - and loving the phone cover, Katie...

The big day approaches

So Katie and Alex's big day (mark II) is finally, nearly, upon us. So, it seems that the guest list has been finalised - and includes the celeb-laden list consists of Emma B, Michelle Heaton and Danielle Lloyd (hmm, maybe she should have invited Celebritree, although even I'm washing my hair tomorrow night). Rumoured declinees of invitations include Davina McCall, Vinnie Jones, Holly Willoughby, Stevie Gerrard and Alex Curran. Whereas most people might think they had saved money by all these declines, it seems that the lack of celeb presence has destroyed Katie's hopes of a magazine deal. A bit disappointing for those baking the wedding cake, making the dress and (presumably Gary) doing the hair and make up - as they have all been convinced to offer free or discounted services based on free publicity!
Still, anyone who does rock up will apparently be treated to a 'live' rendition of Katie's new single 'Free to love again'. Bet they can't wait...

Katie's stresses continue

Poor Katie Price! Her perfume has just been removed from the shelves of Superdrug when it emerges that the workers in the factories are being paid less than the minimum wage. On top of that, Katie's wedding worries are mounting. She had hoped for an event that would be worth even more than her 2005 wedding to Peter Andre, which was described as the celeb 'event of the year' with celebrity bridesmaids and guests. She had hoped to have 15 bridesmaids this time, but apparently hasn't been able to find 15 celebrity friends to fill the roles - especially as most of the bridesmaids from her last wedding are no longer speaking to her. At the moment, she has recruited daughter, Princess, her sister and Emma B and Michelle Heaton. The guest list is also problematic as celebs are generally avoiding any association with Katie as her star seems to have fallen. She has taken to inviting celebs via Facebook (rumoured to include Keisha Buchanan from the Sugababes and Davina McCall. But she seriously needs to bump up the numbers as the wedding will need to be a highlight of the next series of What Katie Did Next. At this rate she'll need to invite people as desperate as her for publicity - such as Pete.

Katie's low key hen do

Katie Price and 15 of this week's 'closest friends' - including Michelle Heaton, Katie's Mum, Amy, and daughter, Princess (well at least those 3 might stick around beyond the big day) - have been spending the weekend at a beauty and botox clinic to celebrate Katie's hen do. The group were all kitted out in custom-made diamante t-shirts (hope Katie saved on expenses by saving her t-shirts from the last hen-do - after all the guests have probably changed...) Well, Princess, guess if you get the botox young, you'll never be able to make any expression to actually develop wrinkles?

Michelle Heaton's night on the town

Michelle Heaton hit the town last night showing off her marathon body in a skimpy red dress for her hen do. She was accompanied by former fellow LibertyX-er, Kelli Young, and ex-Atomic Kitten, Liz McLarnon. No sign of new mum and other Liberty X member, Jessica Taylor. The girls went to a party at Molton House, with Michelle sporting just the one L-plate (crossed out, as clearly after her marriage to Andy Scott-Lee, she's clearly got quite a bit of experience) and, more classily, some lovely Christian Louboutins. Amazingly, given Michelle's history, she managed not to get all lathered up and actually remained quite sophisticated by the end of the night...

London Marathon Results

So, a cloudy morning in London saw celebs out en masse to show off their marathon running skills (except Katie Price - no doubt still recovering from her Egyptian ordeal/holiday). Lee Latchford-Evans (former Steps singer) was the fastest Celebritree tracked celeb coming in at 4h 39 mins. Natalie Imbruglia was the fastest of the females in just over 5 hours, whilst despite expressing concerns that she wouldn't make it, Michelle Heaton made it in 5h29 mins. Princess Beatrice was the first royal to complete the course with the Branson kids as part of a caterpillar and lovely Lorraine Kelly made it round in 6hr13mins.
The 2 Rickys (Groves and Whittle) from last year's Strictly also made it - surprisingly Groves managed to come in 5 minutes quicker than Whittle - so clearly the impressive 6 pack he was flashing earlier this week means that fitness appearances can be deceptive...

UPDATE - Apparently Michelle Heaton had to be stretchered off after crossing the finishing line and collapsing in tears. Still, poor Gordon Ramsey didn't make it round after having to pull out with cramp. Here's a slightly less glam pic of Michelle...

Marathon Michelle

Celebritree feels sorry for Michelle Heaton. She just doesn't get enough attention - always hidden by her best mate, Katie's shadow. Michelle's going to be celebrating her 2nd marriage this summer too, don't you know?! And with the Geordie accent being voted the nation's favourite this week, why shouldn't Michelle get some of the attention that Cheryl is lapping up? Well, maybe Michelle has been so quiet as she's been working hard on honing her new marathon-ready body, which she has been showing off in Miami this week, in her bikini, having just spent the weekend in NYC with her fiancé and their mums (Michelle was busy tweeting last week in the hope of persuading one her many fans to use their influence for free upgrades - so they could treat their mums. Hmm.)

Certainly Michelle looks as though she is taking the London Marathon more seriously than her pal, Katie - Katie had to be dragged over the finishing line by Peter André and this year has pulled out, under doctor's advice, sparking more rumours that she might be pregnant.

Katie's Kids Model Mum's Latest "collection"

Katie Price has employed her two youngest children, Junior and Princess, as models for her latest collection of equestrian gear. She has certainly taught them a thing or two about posing and pouting as the pair appear to be real naturals in front of the cameras. Celebritree has one question though: where's Harvey?
We're still waiting to find out what Pete thinks of Katie exploiting his children, though I'm sure he's saving his views for a heartfelt piece in his New magazine column.

Meanwhile, one of Katie's bridesmaids, Kerry Katona, has declared herself well and truly in "team Pete" blaming Katie's behaviour for the breakdown of her marriage to Pete (if there's one person on this earth Katie doesn't need advice from, it's probably Kezza). Kerry has recently signed to the same management as Pete and the two seem to have been using the tabloids to show their mutual admiration for each other's impressive talents.

Kerry is not the first of Katie's bridesmaids to fall out with her: indeed Sarah Harding no longer speaks to the star; Kerry and Katie had a spat over Kerry's ex, Mark Croft; Michelle Clack and Katie had a huge row after Katie accused her friend of having an affair with Pete; only Michelle Heaton hanging on in there now...

Will Princess get her chance as bridesmaid?

After speculation that Katie and Alex's wedding in Vegas wasn't legally binding, the dollar signs in Katie's eyes are flashing once again. Not one to see this as a setback, Katie is allegedly now planning to go back on her vows that this union was just about her, Alex and their overwhelming love. Celebrity magazines are now vying for the chance to spend £1million to have the exclusive rights to her star-studded nuptials.

Of course, the good news is that this gives Princess a chance for a starring role as bridesmaid, no doubt ably supported by Chief-hanger on, Michelle Heaton, as she prepares for her own wedding.

This time, though, Katie is said to have banned pink in contrast to the Barbie fest that was her wedding to Peter Andre. What a shame! I guess that means she can't recycle her dress....
