Now, we know this isn't a sports blog, but when the bad news came out that Celebritree favourite, David Beckham, had sustained a serious injury to his achilles tendon, whilst playing for Milan, we had to blog. Back in 2002, the Sun readers all concentrated very hard over a picture of Beckham's foot on sending positive vibes to heal his metatarsal in time for the World Cup. So let's keep our fingers crossed for a miraculous Beckham recovery again this time. The World Cup just wouldn't be the same without him...
The POet Laureate and the PM have also waded into this with tributes. Hang on... he's not actually DEAD!
ReplyDeleteAlso, it would seem from reports that Posh is on her way to help him recover, at least he can be sure she's not going to nick hios hospital food.
Oh, Gordon Brown and his wife like nothing more than to try and hang on the coat tails of celebrities. You would think he had other more pressing matters to comment on - like when's the Election?!
