Royal wedding excitement

The excitement is really building for the royal wedding now that we know the big date. There are still lots of questions: who will be Kate's bridesmaids? Who will design her dress? Which tiara will Kate wear? And what does Harry have in store for Will's stag do?
However Celebritree is really excited now that the guest list is starting to emerge: apparently Elton and Macca are on the list, with Elton tipped to perform. Slightly more surprising and exciting is the invite for the Beckhams - apparently David and William got close during the World Cup so David texted his new mate as soon as he heard the good news about the engagement. A source has said that William texted straight back to tell David that he and Victoria are on the list.
Celebritree can't wait to see what Victoria wears. Hmm, maybe she could design Kate's dress.... What do you think Celebritree readers?

Phew! Pete's on the road to recovery

Phew! Peter Andre is out of hospital and going ahead with his Minehead gig at Butlin's tonight (all the classy venues in this tour, clearly). That's the good news. The bad news for Pete's Somerset fans is that he is still not well enough to put on his high energy dance routines, so will be concentrating on giving "the vocal performance of a lifetime." Still no word on what was wrong with him though Pete has said he thought he was dying.
In another of those weird stories that could only happen to the Price-Andre clan, Katie has spoken out about the case of the missing camera - allegedly stolen from Pete's house in August. She claims that Harvey took it (by mistake presumably - Celebritree assumes Harvey hasn't become some kind of clepto) and she will happily replace it. Finding it at her house, Katie checked the photos and discovered some of Pete's brother, Michael, having hair transplants. Being Katie, she made sure to tweet about the offending pics immediately. Mind you, if you want to have secret hair transplants, probably best to avoid photographic evidence.

Suri keen for stardom

It seems stardom cannot come too soon for Suri Cruise, as it is claimed that she is pestering her mum, Katie Holmes, to let her start a music or movie career. It seems that Suri has been inspired by her good friend and new popstrel, Willow Smith. Willow's parents, Will and Jada, have been good friends with TomKat for some years and 4 year old Suri seems to idolise ten year old Willow.
Still, Katie is said to be concerned that her daughter is growing up too soon. Err, shouldn't you have thought of that before you started dressing her in heels and lip gloss...?

Pete rushed to hospital

Peter Andre was due to start his arena tour this evening but the big occasion has been postponed after Pete was rushed to hospital. The news ways revealed (of course) on Twitter by his ex-wife, who clearly isn't satisfied with the publicity generated by her book tour and her appearances minus wedding ring (are Katie and Alex really on the verge of divorce?) so she decided to take advantage of her ex's illness for another chance to generate some publicity / sell some books or perfume / show how much she really cares... She told the world, "I'm told CAN are going to release a statement saying pete been rushed to hospital with stomach pains!why does press need to know! hope pete ok".
CAN did indeed release a statement confirming Katie's tweet and highlighting the necessity to make a press release to inform his devoted fans of the delay to his tour.
Celebritree just hopes it's nothing serious and that Pete can hit the tour trail again soon!

Eva and Tony split latest

The marriage of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker is over, with Tony managing to generate almost as many scandals as fellow newly single man, David Arquette. A British girl has come forward with a series of sexts from Tony, including a half naked photo. There are also rumours of his infidelity doing the rounds in the US, including some that he has slept with his teammate's ex. Jeez, he sounds like the American John Terry...
Thankfully, Eva has some great friends, who are proving a tower of strength, such as Victoria Beckham. Victoria's shoulders must be very damp with tears, with her offering both Eva and Tana Ramsey a shoulder to cry on...

Partying with Pete

The stars were out in force last night as Claire Powell, best known for being Peter Andre's manager, celebrated her birthday at the Crazy Bear private members' club in Covent Garden. Kerry Katona was showing off her slimline figure in a skimpy animal print frock, whilst chatting with The Only Way is Essex star, Amy. Celebritree is wondering whether Amy is offering to give classy Kerry a vajazzle...
Meanwhile, Pete is making big plans for his forthcoming tour - apparently he has devised a routine that involves 5 year old Junior joining him on stage. No doubt Katie will be thrilled!

Poor Nadine

Nadine is now back home in LA, taking comfort from her family, fiancé and pets after her debut solo album sold only 5,000 copies in its first week (suddenly the exclusive deal with Tesco doesn't seem like quite such a great scoop). Nadine and her dad were seen taking the dogs for a walk, with Nadine looking pretty glum. Apparently she had really hoped that her move to LA would really kickstart her career, but now she feels that she's going nowhere. Still, Nadine, at least you have a hunky fiance, Cheryl can't curl up with her career on a cold night... Not that Nadine will get many cold nights in California!

Another one bites the dust

Kate Winslet has come over all Garboesque on us, following the break up of her four month old romance with model, Louis Dowler. He was planning to move to Chicago to be with Kate whilst she works on her latest movie, but it seems it's not to be as friends have revealed the romance is over, with Kate declaring that she wants to be alone. Has she found another hunky director or has she decided to give her love life a break for a bit? Only time will tell, but Celebritree can't see our Kate staying single for long!

They're lining up to knock the nation's sweetheart...

Any regular X Factor viewers will probably have heard Cheryl laying into Wagner on last night's show, after he said in a newspaper interview that she was just "a girl from a council estate who got lucky".
However, it seems the crazy Brazilian isn't the only one anxious to badmouth Chezza. It has emerged that designer, Julien McDonald, came up to Cheryl at Sarah Harding's Halloween party and told her that her red hair looked "s**t" before calling her a chav. Cheryl didn't take this lying down screeching, "f**k you! Didn't you hear me? I said f**k you!" thereby revealing her class, before her knight in shining armour, random celeb, Will Mellor, stepped in to defend her honour. She then hit the dance floor to indulge in some provocative dance routines with Nicola from Girls Aloud. (Celebritree imagines that Will Mellor was disappointed not to be involved in that!)
Nobody really knows what got Julien's goat - he used to dress Cheryl (I.e. Provide her with fancy frocks to wear, rather than helping her squeeze into bandage leggings and the like) but it seems pretty unlikely she'll be stepping out in any of his gear again...

New Strictly romance?

It seems that the romance between Strictly professional, Flavia Cacace and her partner of 3 years, Matt Di Angelo, has ended. The couple had managed to stay together after meeting on the show, moving in together. Still, it seems Flavia might be making a habit of falling for her dance partners, as rumours have emerged that Flavia has waltzed off with her partner from this year's Strictly, Jimi Mistry. Jimi has been single since his marriage broke up 4 years ago. It seems the couple were spotted looking intimate at the 20th Annual Drapers Fashion Awards (hmm, clearly now they are out of the show, they have time to attend the opening of an envelope!)
Strictly is turning into a hotbed of romance: aside from Flavia's two dalliances, last year Joe Calzaghe left his long-term partner for dance partner, Christina Rihanoff and Ali Bastian got together with her dance partner, Brian Fortuna (they split last month). One thing is for sure: Anton is certainly not in danger of getting any romance with Big Bird/Anne Widdecombe!

Girls Aloud - rapprochement?

Girls Aloud (minus Nadine - of course - she has slunk back to the States following the 'success' of her single) were out in force at the Mirror's Pride of Britain awards last night. Although Nadine was out of the picture, Girls Aloud fans will be pleased to hear that she has at last spoken to one of her bandmates. After seeing all of the other girls together on X Factor, Nadine held out an olive branch to Cheryl and the two got together at Chezza's house to have a good old chinwag and clear the air. However, it seems Sarah, Nicola and Kimberley couldn't make the peace talks. Still maybe there's hope of a reunion yet...

Posh is in town

It seems a while since Victoria Beckham graced our shores, but she is back in London this week, saying how much she would love to show at London Fashion Week, as she's proud of her heritage. Last night she was dining out at pal, Gordon Ramsey's Maze restaurant, dressed like the little ray of sunshine that she is in one of her own designs in "spiritual" golden yellow.

Nadine flops

Oh dear! Nadine has hardly set the world alight with her debut solo offering. Insatiable entered the charts today at a lowly number 26. Admittedly that's an improvement on her midweek position, but still is nowhere close to matching the hype. Meanwhile Shakespears Sister managed to enter the charts at number 12 with a song from 1992, Stay, after it was covered last week on X Factor by Cher Lloyd...

Bye bye Bingles

In more bad news for the Reid-Price clan, Katie and Alex have apparently got rid of their pet micro pig, Bingles (a wedding gift named by Princess). It seems that micro pigs can have a nasty side to them, as Alex says that Bingles was becoming increasingly aggressive, especially when people were eating and that they couldn't take any chances with the kids (although Celebritree reckons that Harvey, Junior and Princess probably know how to take care of themselves...)
Alex doesn't know if this is a general micro pig problem or if they just got unlucky with Bingles...

These boots are made for...?!

Katie Price has been haunting the nation's bookshops as she promotes the latest of her autobiographies. It was obviously chilly in Manchester as she sported some very furry boots. Apparently despite her loving message to her ex husband in her latest book, she is not really feeling the love - she apparently threw a shoe at her TV during his performance on Strictly the other week (let's hope it wasn't one of these boots or she could have done some serious damage!)
More bad news for Katie: the incident last month when she hit a person whilst on her mobile en route to see Michelle Heaton in a play may result in a 2 year custodial sentence! At the least, Katie can probably expect to lose her licence - she already has 7 points. Surely something must be done: it's just a matter of time before she sends her 4x4 crashing into a Snappy Snaps...
